Ammo suggestion.

Make T2 faction ammo. Or delete T2 ammo from the game and make T2 weapons perform with faction ammo like they now perform with T2 ammo.

That will bring more variety to ammo we use in T2 weapons.

Also, pirate faction ammo could be more powerful than Navy faction ammo than its now. I know in Eve the cost/efficiency goes down as capability increase, but still there have to be some cost efficiency and incentive pirate faction ammo to be used. Maybe additional 10% to the damage compared to navy faction ammo wouldn't be too much, because the price of pirate vs navy faction ammo is several times higher usually.

Number can be adjusted ofc, but the difference now can't be felt.

Pirate faction ammo is already in the game.

And what exactly are you envisioning the new T2 ammos doing? Faction and T2 ammos are fairly balanced ATM, why do you feel the need to change it?

Why do you feel like these changes are needed? And how would your proposed change achieve the 'need' that you are seeing?

The need is to make actually faction ammo used in T2 weapons

problems are:

1. only few ammo types are used (for example, for blasters null, for pulse lasers scorch and IN multifrequency)
2. faction ammo is little used in T2 weapons (except maybe ACs). It should be used more. That will make LP sink that's faction ammo supposed to be actually work
3 Pirate faction ammo performance don't justify the cost. It costs much more than navy faction ammo, for only marginal increase of the performance

Faction ammo can (and often is) used in T2 weapons. If you look at the bonus that the specialization skills give it's "2% damage bonus per skill level to turrets requiring this skill" (and missiles are ROF instead). So the T2 gun damage bonus will apply to Faction ammo too.

The reason that only certain ammo types are used is because of the bonuses they have. When you're fighting at certain ranges, people are going to use the ammo with the highest DPS in their given range. You list Null and Scorch ammo, but those are used because they increase the range of the guns, and then IN MF is used at closer ranges because it does higher DPS and is quickly changeable.

And pirate ammo is so hit or miss it's sad. One time I sold 1k rounds of Domination EMP S for 181k each but then Domination Titanium Sabot S is worth nothing at all. That's a function of a. People being willing to pay top ISK for that tiny little edge (which is why Officer mods are worth so much) and b. The fact that not all ammos are equally useful.

In short, I'm not disagreeing with you, but I do want to point out that the current usages are because some things are more useful than others in general, not because there is a lack anywhere. It's impossible to make all ammos equally useful.
