I have three separate ideas for this thread to discuss. If you have any feedback on the ideas please drop a line. If you like the ideas please use the Like feature so I can tally the amount of people interested so I can justify posting it in the assembly hall.

Thank you, and enjoy.

Idea #1: "Unlabeled" Contact List Filter
Right now we have two systems to search our contacts in a folder-like manner. The first, customizable option is Labels. These are a great tool for organizing your contacts and quickly finding your associates who can take care of specific things, or figure out who you want to hunt depending on your line of work. Managing these labels easier is the foundation of this idea.

The second method to search our contacts is by standing in the pre-made un-customizable filter folders. These allow us to quickly and easily view all contacts with a certain standing. Simple enough and quite straight forward. I would like to add another pre-made filter 'folder' to this list. This filter would be called "Unlabeled" and would contain a list of all contacts that have not yet had a label assigned to them.

The "Unlabeled" filter would allow the quick, easy and effort free isolation and location of all un-organized contacts. Someone like me who has a large amount of contacts (who I like to keep as organized as possible) would use this as a work flow, hopper or task list if you will to help streamline the organization process. This feature would become especially useful in scenarios where you are adding a large amount of contacts at once when you may need to organize them into labels afterward (For example, war targets.)

Idea #2: Assign Label On Contact Creation

This one is straight forward and simple and I believe it should be added even with the addition of Idea #1. The ability to assign a contact to an existing label should be available when adding the contact at all times.

Idea #3: Employment History Standings Coloring

Lets face it, recruiting a new member into your corporation is always a lengthy process when doing back ground checks. This is doubly so if you want to make sure that they haven't been directly involved with any corp or alliance you don't like.

Now what I thought would be cool here is to add the standings flag next to all the corporation names in the employment history of a persons show info window. This standings flag would designate whether or not you, your corp or your alliance has standings set towards that group (positive or negative) and allow for quicker checks to see if a person is 'sleeping with your enemies'.

This feature would also be nice if it could flag (with terrible standings taking preference to being displayed) corporations based on all the alliances they have been in as well. For example, John Doe was part of the corporation Spunk Monkeys United and that corporation was part of the Premature Spunk Alliance 3 years ago but you, your corp or your alliance has the Premature Spunk Alliance set red that corporation entry in John Doe's employment history would be flagged as a quick and easy "heads up" that he's been part of a group that slept with your enemies.

This type of UI tool would provide a great deal of information in a single little 'badge' or standings symbol that would reduce a large amount of player effort expended digging through the user interface when doing background checks on potential recruits or allies.

This could even be done without a badge or standings icon. Simply provide a background color behind each entry in the employment history that is color coded by the standings flag being raised.

It wont let me have an empty signature...
