When I first began playing EVE, a couple of friends from work decided they were going to help me and kind of 'show me the ropes'. Though the game was fun, there was just SO much to it and I really wasn't getting the help I needed. I lasted 2-3 months before I quit.

Earlier this year I decided I would give EVE another try. I was told about E-UNI and soon joined. I have been a member for a few months now but I have learned a lot and gained TONS of experience already that I don't think I would have otherwise, or at least this quickly. E-UNI has improved the experience for me and I now see EVE as an amazing game. Free skillbooks, E-UNI supplied ships, tons of classes taught by experienced players, frequent fleet ops for experience, tons of helpful people and more... I can't understand why any new player would NOT join this corp.

Joining E-UNI has been the best decision I made in the game. Period.

The first mistake you'll make in EVE is not joining E-UNI - it will accelerate your progress in the game immeasurably.

Perhaps when CCP make E-UNI an NPC corp new players will be placed here by default LolLol

I joined the EVE University about a month ago and I'm really enjoying, I attended to classed, participated in fleets and such.

They are extremely organized and active.

I still feel that I have a lot to learn on the game, and I'm confident that I'm in the right place for that, I'm even not sure if I'll ever leave someday since I'm really enjoying the corporation so far.

Eve-uni taught me how to start in Eve - and $DEITY knows Eve is huge and new pilots don't have a clue where to start.
Join the uni if you are new in Eve - you'll learn the ropes of the game way faster than alone.

EVE Online is what you make of it. You start off with the tutorials, then the epic arc missions while you try and decide what type of player you are going to be. With EVE UNI you get skill book reimbursement ( up to a limit ), lectures and classes on varying aspects of the game, ship replacement if lost on UNI pvp runs, mentoring if you want it, and a wealth of knowledge available on the website. All of this without being asked for anything in return except to abide by the UNI rules.

There is really no other starting Corp in this game except EVE University.

Excellent corp for new and old players alike.

I highly recommend E Uni as one of the most helpful corporations in Eve. If you're interested in learning about new aspects of the game, this is an excellent place to discuss ideas and try out new things. Excellent classes, fleets, and discussion channels on every topic of the game. Highly participtory and active corporation. Highly organized. Limitations include no pvp in player owned nullsec, no corp faction warfare, no pirating Pirate or "darkside" eve activities. That said, I have been in awsome fleets attacking wormhole POS's, and supercarrier kills. Shocked This corp offers great diversity and depth of knowledge of many aspects of the game. I would highly recommend this corp to anyone looking to get more out of the game as one of the best corps out there for new and old players alike. For a more PVP focused corp please also check out Red versus Blue, and for nullsec alliance I hear Goonswarm is popular but have little experience with them. I also highly enjoyed faction warfare with Khanid Provincial Vanguard, but not sure which corporations are active now in this area. Feel free to contact in game if have questions about E Uni. Cheers, Bal Big smile

Without the Uni I probably would have canceled my subscription by now. The learning curve of EVE is daunting, but everyone in the university is so helpful and they make that cliff seem like a normal hill. Even just hanging out on the public Uni Mumble server is a great way to learn about the game and the people.

Best place to start EVE adventure.

I doubt I'd stay in this game that long and If I did, I'd be nowhere near who and where I am now.

Not only is EVE Uni the best place to be at the moment, but since the last war ended, the current corp tax rate has been temporarily dropped so this is the best time to do those incursions and missions :-)
More isky for you and get skill books free hehe

Not promoting blatantly but really, it is the place to be at the moment.

Classes schedule back up, join EVE Uni to learn something about the game.

The reason I joined was to actually find a corp with people who are in my timezone and have a decent sized player base as well.
Check and check

I wanted to learn about the game from experienced players and not be forced into a play style
check and checkmate

Classes are actual proper classes with presentations and a practical at the end as well.

Hello

I have been trying to initiate the procedure for application to join Eve University, unfortunately I cannot get past the forum registration as up to this moment no password has been sent to my mail address.

Perhaps your auto response is broken?

alisanos - maybe it is your e-mail provider (Hotmail - gmail) that sends automaticly the message in the Spam pin. You could try to apply with a different e-mail.. If you still have problem, convo me in-game and I'll arrange something.

Just make sure that you use a correct (and working!) email address when you set up the account as mentioned on the page, and if you don't get anything, go to the forum login and use the "I forgot my password" link and the server will send it again.
