Been waiting about this new forum thing. I hate, HATE having to log in again and again every 30 minutes or something for inactivity and doesn't forget my desired forum settings. I am hoping the new forum doesn't do that and seems it doesn't (thank god?).

Plus a better search feature for the forums. Still holding my verdict on the newly finalized forums so I'll check back in later. :0

This thread is mainly about the forums which is good but people will look for 1000 papercuts becouse that is what is on the old forums and got a lot of play by CCP at fanfest.

Considering I'll be less and less around most likely (unless I manage to get over this puke-inducing feeling that these new forums generate inside of me), I'd be quite content if somebody else "picks up the torch" with that.

Let me put it this way : if 6+ months of massive papercuts-like reports regarding THIS particular forum has yielded as good as no noteworthy action on any of that particular feedback (even if some of it would have been trivial to implement, fairly easy to implement too, and even PLAYER-GENERATED mods can significantly lessen the discomfort), I am not feeling very confident in the belief that CCP would actually manage to tackle much of what was already mentioned in there, let alone anything that might get mentioned in the future - what needed to be said was more than said in the first half of that thread already, and if they could manage to get a quarter of that done in the next two or even three years I'd be very pleasantly surprised (but I'm not holding my breath for it).

If nobody else does, later on, when//if I'm feeling less belligerent//disillusioned, I might recreate it. Eventually.

I noticed CCP didn't include the 'Report Post' option in the new Forums.

That's a 'Free Pass' to post anything now.

I found the 'Report Post' option.

It's the little flag next to the date listed in the top header of the posted reply.

has it stopped annoying me with "enable images" whenever there is upposed to be an image? CHECK
are there less signatures so threads have better readability? CHECK

Unknown, since images are not supported and you instead have to go through a warning page to see them. Moreover, the old forums had settings to easily avoid being annoyed by those "enable" messages.

No, because there is no setting to turn signatures off, meaning there is no way to improve the readability.
