I've heard about this. CPP should scrap the development of Incarna and the NEX store. This move would give CPP a huge amount of publicity and give them time to work on the spaceship elements of Eve. I really hope CPP lose this war.

If you think the CSM is anything more than a PR tool for CCP, you're deluded.

Nothing will happen until CCP gets hit in the wallet, as that is the only thing the MBA's currently running things seem to understand.

There is no doubt in my mind anymore. Mittani was the one who leaked that internal CCP newsletter.

Wondering what mittens is going to loudly say... I'm pretty much fine with starting a large bonfire with EVE at this point.

If that was true he'd have been kicked off the CSM and banned in half a heartbeat. Likely his name would still be filtered here like kugutsumen's was on the old forums

and STILL IS wow!
Way to hold a grudge CCP

Goons; infiltration at its best - first bob... now ccp itself. They dont realize you guys dot take this as "just a game". Bring it down guys, we're rooting for you.

your nothing more then a fecking muppet playing a game.
This is what you get when power rises to someones head.

A muppet playing a game that made the headline of every major game publication on the internet today

Funny thing about that... "every news publication" didnt find his post till hours after he made it then they all seem to have found it and quoted it verbatim like it was an interview. Almost like they emailed the link. An in that case, I dont give him any credit for shoving his posts down the "news" ppl's throats.

If this is what it takes to try and get development back on track to something that the playerbase actually wants, then I'll be doing what I can to support these efforts. As I'm not a frequent forum warrior here or elsewhere on the various hangouts, I discovered this via Rock, Paper, Shotgun, but it will be the perfect way to break in the new forums.

To be honest, I think this expansion and all its updates are about CCP trying to improve the community aspect of the game, instead of just concentrating about making big things go BOOM.

This can (or might not, depends on the implementation) bring more players into the game who are more into the social aspect vs the killing/ganking/mining/building aspects of the game.

I guess after that, they will go back to the normal program of things, making new ships or hopefully improving the game engine.

That is my take on the subject.

People People People

CCP DO NOT CARE

The ONLY thing that will make the suits at CCP take any notice is people cancelling there accounts and ONLY then if the income from subscriptions and the purchases of PLEX for the use of adding game time continually fall over a period of time.

You can make as many posts as you like on the forums, Alexander 'The Mittani' Gianturco can have his delusions of grandeur and it will NOT MAKE ANY DIFFERENCE

You want change, then do the following

1. Go to https://secure.eveonline.com/

2. Log In

3. Click On Game Time

4. Click on Cancel Subscription

5. Give Reason

6. Click on Cancel Subscription

or if you pay via plex - STOP adding game time.

If enough people do this then the suits at CCP might, just might sit up, take the heads out of the arse and take notice but don;t hold your breath

If the game was just all about killing people, by this type barely half the people would have play the game.
Without the social part, there game would have died a long time ago.

I think so.
Have to remember that we don't have the entire Incarna expansion and it won't until the stations are finally unlocked and we can actually meet other people.
I can understand that it's a big task to do but I must be surprised by the overall slow speed of CCP.
I saw the original timeline that suggested that the other CQs would be released in august but now it looks like it will be released this winter.
I would rather want them to put all their efforts into completing Incarna since that is what alot of people are actually waiting for.
And I'm not talking about current eve players as the subject is rather divided on the issue but I mean outside gamers, RPers who want nothing more then to dig into this world but have felt disconnected due the fact that you were a ship before and had no connection to that odd character that you had to make at the start.
They are eagerly looking forward to Incarna but they do not want to be stuck in a single CQ alone.

I can understand that players here that aren't intersted in CQ or the Incarna expansion in general and that's fair. This game has something for everyone and I can understand that some groups feel neglected.
But you have to understand that Incarna isn't going away, they won't cancel it or remove it. Only way is forward with completing it. Once the package is in place, they can do a expansion pack that focus entirely on the space part.

tbh the way I see things is:

adding Incarna = ok
adding Incarna in deterrent of the rest of the other features = not ok

still think that if Incarna was totally optional from the onset (no, the makeshift "temporary" solution in the options IS NOT ok) like CCP promised, the community whiplash would be far less.
