how about being able to setup corp billboards at jumpgates advertising your corp, etc? the current billboards are worthless, aren't they? i haven't looked at them since i first started playing, lol

Most people just use small secure cans, which seem to do exactly what you're proposing.

Letting corps display images would be obnoxious to fly through (cans are annoying enough already) and we don't need the additional server stress.

I would suggest that corporations could purchase a slot in the image cycle queue on the existing billboard and render it impossible to anchor cans within 1,000 KM of a gate.

In my opinion, recruitment cans are like selling flowers at freeway off-ramps. You could be selling long-stem roses at a great price but I'm not going to give it a second look because it's a cheap trick.
