Imbound gate fire

I've always wondered why when there is an inbound stargate fire, it looks exactly the same as an outgoing fire. I suggest that the "beam of light" fires into the gate when the connection is inbound.

If only for the looks.

Also. I just thought it'd be nice if the jumping effect was more similar to the capital jump effect, that is the ship disappears into a beam of light with said light flying into the distance, but not as flashy.

Again, if only to look cool.

All warfare is based on deception and logistics. Battles and soldiers are secondary priorities.

yea stargates are kinda broken in these respects.

you didint mention why (now that gates are aligned) does the Beam go in two directions? somtimes the beam going in the oposite direction goes thru part of the stargate...Cough..Gallente..Cough.
this little hicup should be fixed. Look at How the stargate works in the Incursion Trailer for more reference.

I think the Jump effect from the new Battlestar Galactica would be WAY better-looking.

And before you say anything about it, I HATE Battlestar Galactica.

This is my signature. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

That effect is nice to watch as a bystander, I watched a Black Ops jump some ships into another system some time back and was mightily impressed.
