Those of you with a knowledge of recent history may recall the Villore Accords. The Accords were a military compact created between several prominent FDU-aligned corporations, effectively reorganizing the militia and unifying their efforts. Struck during the height of the Caldari invasion and occupation of the Federation's border zone, the Villore Accords played a significant role in reversing the fortunes of war.

More recently, CONCORD has amended its rules of engagement under the Emergency Militia War Powers Act. The new amendment permits militia corporations to band together under formal 'alliance' agreements common to capsuleer organizations throughout the rest of the cluster.

In the spirit of the first compact, the Quantum Cats Syndicate and several other original signatories have revived the Villore Accords in alliance form. This new alliance similarly unites a number of capsuleer corporations flying under the banner of the FDU.

However, this new alliance still lacks a flag to call its own.

In the spirit of the free discourse and exchange of ideas that the Gallente Federation embodies, we are opening the process of creating this flag to the public at large. This contest to choose the alliance's logo is open to anyone, regardless of affiliation or belief. The winner of this contest will receive a prize of one billion isk, currently held in escrow by Chribba. We welcome all artists looking to leave a permanent mark on military history.
