Yes, I really love the look.

To be honest, I even cut out the faces from those prints and glued them to the faces of several old porcellain dolls that I have been collecting for quite a while. I could sit there for hours, looking at their new faces while I run my fingers through their soft hair and smile all day long. Sometimes I admit I even play weird games with them.

I do not think this is deviant or kinky, it is an extremely beautiful character protrait, after all.

Last week I was arrested by the police because I have been giving away pictures of your avatar to toddlers at the local elementary school. I tried to explain, but they just don't understand.....

Nobody understands...

Uhmmm, thnx. About you; The pose is almost as "unnatural" (wtf?) as mine, background is awefull as there is no background to be seen, lips and nose and forehead could do with alot less shine, overall look is plasticine going for natural and a general "i'm pretty generic and went for a mellow look".

3/10 fo a totally unoriginal and effortless character, take your time and try again aswell. Roll

About yours;

You look like a gentle giant with a very dark side. Bit of a Harvey Two-Face. I like it.
A smile and a bit insecure on the lighted side, battle hardened and not so mr happy on the shadow side with a cold lighting adding to the harsh nature of the scar.

9 out of 10 because it has alot of character.

Congratulations!! You're a master @ providing complements on other people while being so insecure you had to revise your own portraits over 24 times....You've earned your rights dear person!!

I just have a dislike for hypocite people who pretty much do the same they accuse other people of doing. For your remarks about my portrait;

The pose is a pretty natural pose, just put your shoulder forward, tilt your head forwards to your chest and look to the side. Voila. Your pose is almost the same as mine except you tilted it the other way. Hypocrite much?

Background complements the pale nature of ginger skin complexion, it provides a contrast. Yours is a bland black and dark red barely visible.

Eye shadow is either used to be complementary of eye color, or a stark contrast. I went for complementary since i have green eyes. Could have gone for bright pink or red but that would have been pretty rediculous right? You went for natural, fine and dandy right? Bit bland though.

Lipstick is again a choice of providing contrast. It's a picture, do you ever see models not having incredible shiny make-up?

Piercings and tattoo (single) are just a matter of taste really and i found it complemented my character quite well.

Now go ahead and say again that it is a totally unworked character. You could be a hypocrite again and say it, which i expect you to.

Back to rating other peoples portraits it is.

Freyya just chill lol.. this is rate the picture above you, not rate the picture above you and smack talk everyone who makes comments about you that you do not agree with... You said my boobs were ugly and i looked bored. It made me sad for a minute of two but I still think my avatar is hot no matter what you think Lol

And your portrait aint bad :P It's just that the slightly saggy boobs take up alot of attention P

In all honesty, i do like the facial expression and the eyes that jump out.

Ad homimem won't take you far, dear. I am sad that you worked so much, hour upon hour, to reach an avatar anyone could throw out in five minutes. But you made poor choices and the result is below par.

FAI, you chose the worst background possible out of 84. As rule of thumb, family matching the background to the hair is a dangerous move. Doing so when your character is small and the background is chaotic is suicidal, as your character just blends into a shapeless color blob.

Your hair is red, try to use a yellow, green or blue background. Your character is small, use a background that makes it pop out rather than blend with the background.

Your eyeshadow, using black and call that a "match" to red and green is like racing against granma and bragging you won. Use a brown if you dare, or a yellow, or even a pink if you really are as good as you think.

And your pose looks like you just broke your neck. Quick tip: most poses allowed by the character creator are unnatural; putting your head into a position doesn't means that it should or even could be there. Use the camera angle to your favor, and use some photographs of actual people to see how their head, neck and shoulders rotate around each other.

BTW, this is one of my alts, six months ago:

Red hair, black jacket, blue background

Do you notice how the background is darker in the upper half and lighter in the lower half? Try to figure how that could play with the character being darker below and brighter above...

Honestly, thank you for the tips, i won't be following up on any of them. I'm quite pleased how my 45 mins (aprox) of work turned out and i enjoy this character that apparantly anyone could throw out in 5 mins. Hence why i haven't seen ANY portrait, as unimaginative or randomized as alot can be, looks like mine. Any portrait can be thrown out in 5 mins, just as well as yours.

Like i said, stand in front of a mirror, turn to the side, put your shoulder forwards slightly, bow your head down to your chest and turn your head towards the mirror. You've just achieved a broken nek position.

Now shall we go back to the normal operation of this thread?

6/10 for havign your hair to close to the BG color, a cooler color would have made it pop alittle, or maybe another hot color but not dark red.
