I find the lighting could use some adjustment and the background makes your character blander than she actually is. I do like that you used that hairstyle and made it look good. Face tats aren't my cup of tea usually either, but here it works very nicely. Nice and original without feeling forced.

Overall I like it a lot.

8/10 due to the background.

Very nice color coordination throughout. Eyes. Top. Background.

I usually don't like off-center shots, but that one certainly works. Diamond shadow under the chin is a bit distracting, but that's an issue with how shadows are rendered.

8.5/10 all day.

It's space Ellen DeGeneres! Lan looks like she's been caught mid joke with that small quirky style, though I'd probably have her head slightly more turned towards the camera. As it is she looks like that if someone calls her name from behind she'll crack something trying to look over her shoulder at them. My only other criticism is that at a distance the left hand of her jacket almost blends in with the background strip. Not saying the background doesn't suit the lighting (It's pitch perfect), but maybe think about choosing a top which doesn't sink into it.

All in all, a deserved 8/10.

gotta say i love this char, the red hair and glasses go well as does the choice of jacket, the pose is perfect so i cant really say a bad word about it.

Have to say I find the milk-stache a bit unappealing, but hey, what can you do? I'm also not a big fan of visible implants, but that's just my preference... And it does appear you have a reason to use one looking at the scars, but I much prefer the less obvious cybernetic eyes if people use cybernetic additions on their avatars. Hmm. Overall I'd say you've done good, I like the composition and you don't look too bad for a Caldari male. :D Most importantly the avatar works well both in small and large sizes, so I'd give you a solid 9/10. Would've been a 10 but had to give some minus according to personal taste. :P

Had to throw a shoutout to Nyl as well, that avatar is very eye catching in a sea of fairly basic avatars. Really my only complaint would be the background, but I know the choices are rather limited. Still, I'd had preferrred something more... Lively? No.. Well, something a bit less subdued, but not something flamboyant as it would steal your characters thunder. If you catch my drift. But again I know the options are rather limited. In any case, a 10/10, and I don't drop this rating too often.
