Tinja Soikutsu, although I'd prefer a closer portraiture and although I'm not a big fan of the "wut" posture of your character, I like that he doesn't look generic, which the most important thing in my opinion. The non-close portraiture plus surrounding darkness makes your avatar mysterious too, as it is difficult to see details in his face, but he definitely looks interesting. He doesn't look like a nice guy, but he doesn't look like a caricature bad guy neither. Not being manichean is good (and I hope my avatar isn't neither). 7/10.

Those eyes... we're so used to seeing irises and pupils that when we can see only white it just creeps us out. Definitely a feature that lifts the avatar 7.5/10

Don't like the doll looking, sorry. It's probably because the skin, hair and the expression do not look real (i.e. alive) enough. 4/10.

Very "Kung Fu Master" looking. It seems like an alarmingly high proportion of pod pilots are blind or at least partially blind compared to the rest of the population overall. Galactic Medical oughta do a study. Maybe it's the gamma radiation. 8/10

I like the "catholic vintage" looking, with serious expression, serious hair, serious make up. It's a fertile ground for an unusual biography. This character might be a very credible trader or CEO for example. But it definitely looks better when viewed in high resolution, I would have missed a lot of details if I only had looked at the small avatar. 8.5/10.

(Yes, there are a lot of blind characters, you're right. Here it comes with burnt skin, probably after some accident resulting from excessive overheating of afterburners.)
