Your face is just not meant to be viewed up front at all.
The nose feels attached and fake...
I like the expression , but try different lighting , and view from a slightly elevated angle... no one want to check if you got any boogers lol

Yes. That was a terrible abomination of an avatar. It was sooo far different than the one in-game, it was ridiculous. So now I have my "not sure, but I think I'm getting moderately irritated" face on.

I like yours a bit more each time I look. Still don't like the vest, but other than that, the only thing holding it back is eye expression. Maybe doing something with the eyes would make it pop. Oh yeah. and let's see those ears... :-) 8.5+/10

edit: Actually.... after looking at my own avatar, I'd say it's more of a "don't you dare steal my cookie" face.

Well.. here's 3 shots of me showing my ears.
And they look absolutely horrid.
Because of the crappy Dietels bone structure, the face is so big , if I show my ears .
The fact that it looks like someone did a face transplant on my toon will look the ever more apparent.

That hair is far too blonde to fit with the background, it clashes really hard, mostly due to the style. It would look a lot better closer to white or darker, or just with a different hairstyle / background.

Of your portraits, I'd say the first one linked is best. I'd give that one a 9/10 and the current one a 7.5-8/10.

Anyway, the previous pose is better imo, with the exception of the vest. The current one, as Akirei said, clashes with the background and made the expression/pose look plain.

I kinda like it. Frank expression and realistic beauty, my only gripe is the hair looking so unnatural. 8.5/10

Hmm... Your neck is a bit skinny and your face looks like it has been sucked a bit too much (maybe your boyfriend?). Well I'm not sure your avatar is very good for a space game, maybe you should be in an MMO about Egyptian pyramids because you kind of look like one of those pyramid cats with the faces that look like they get sucked a lot.

What I can see looks good. It's a nice touch how the background fits the hairstyle, shape-wise.
It's a tad too dark, though, imo, even though it's to emphasize the kinda sinister look, I guess.

The hair just doesn't work. Like most games with character customization, red hair doesn't look even remotely natural in EVE. I'd have to say something like 6-7/10, the hair kills it.
