But the warm light suggested by the top left part of said background can't be found anywhere else in the picture, namely on your avatar. Aside from that I think it's a pretty nice portrait.

Not boring, but if you have a resculpt available you should try to use it, I find the face a bit odd. That's not bad already, there is just some work needed. In my opinion again :)

Looks a bit sad. Looks like picture was taken close up for the purpose of easy recognition.
Maybe that tatoo means something like: Propery of guristas pirates.

The avartar is still good. i'll give it a 7/10
