Facial structure is OK, colors are bland/non-existent, background doesn't work at all. Generous 5/10.

Backgrounds, ya I have trouble with them. Otherwise the rest is OK, being a gallente renegade who has embraced the amarr :)

Besides the aesthetics (I think Amarr background is a nightmare to work with for posing), a few things spring to mind such as

Why is this Gallente looking at me dark and broodingly? He's clearly trying to McEdginton me, which might explain why he's with the Amarr. But if that's the case, does he realize that the Amarr are a theological, not inherently evil society? Goddamn punk kids will rebel to anything these days, they don't even know what they stand for.

I know I'm over-analyzing, but at least it's evocative if nothing else.

A minmatar female in a clean, well taken care of uniform.

Strikes me as the kind that decided that the 'rust or bust' way of flying has been exchanged for more solid, shiney ships that lack ductape or wheelchair uzi's.

If it wasnt for the background, I'd instantly take you for either Caldari (most probable), or Gallente.

Still a nice avatar.

I like it, her pose and expression, oh and normally a tear is a symbol of respect for a fallen brother on the streets

I can't say I like the design of the coat. It's pretty gaudy and the colors are bleh. Your character has a pretty good "captain" feel to it, though.

I like the "cute" look but have always hated bangs like that. Makes the hair look like a helmet. 7/10

As you know though, every major religious group has a military enforcement arm, ex: the Jesuit order. I mean someone has to bring the minimatar into the light, regardless if they approve or not :-)
