I'm sure it's a massively difficult technological feat to figure out how to make the client update notifications appear somewhere besides over the top dead center of the ads/notifications on the login screen, but maybe if everyone put their collective energy into it, a solution could be discovered. Maybe there should be a DARPA grant or an X-Prize for it or something...
