So i'm just getting into stealths ships & had a nice roam about low & null in the in the wee hours of the morning.

But my question is - Does the stealth mode take you out of local chat -

I had a bit of fun running around in the stealth Bomber trying to take on a few belt rats, but tonite i wanna try on scanning. So i was unsure on if i was seen on local while in stealth mode. I know i'm in it wihlst i jump into system, but with a but of luck hopefully there'll think i jump right back out of system.

If i do dispaear from chat while cloaked i fear the only time there'll be able to see me is when i launch probes. Am in right in thinking so & does it bother you when you see people in your system trying to scan down sites.

What should i be wary of, people scanning me down etc.

Cheers

The only time you are not in local is when you are in a wormhole. So - when you are cloaked you are still on local chat.

Looking threatening to most people I might add.

I personally get very offended when other people come to scan down MY sites! (Yes. they are MINE MINE MINE!)

Well at least thats the main concern cleared up .. i'm still visable in chat.

So there's no way to remove myself from local, i wonder if making contact would do me any good, might help me save my bacon.

What security rating systems would people advise looking for sites in, just after something different for a bit.

All sigs in a given type of space will be the same (eg, nullsec is nullsec, regardless of if it's -1.0 or -0.1, same for high and lowsec). What individual sites spawn depends on the sacrifices you offer up to the RNG gods, but the chance of any given site spawning is the same within different security classifications.

It's good to get to know the locals. They can become helpful after a while.

Erm... I know all sigs are the plunked together by class in low and high sec (so if it's highsec you get one set of sigs, and if it's lowsec you get another - the actual security rating of a system is not so relevant)

However I was nearly certain that the truesec of a null system did have an influence on the kind of sites that were spawned there - part of the changes CCP introduced a while back to give null more granularity and make certain systems more valuable no?
