I just wrote a looong post , but somehow it has gone :|

So the first problem:

[ 2012.02.01 14:19:15 ] (notify) Charon belonging to SomePlayer self-destructs.

If you live in a low sec and you are a pirate (as i am) , you always get sentry-fire for shooting other people.
So the damage notifications goes one after another. And if some nub pushes self-destruct on his ship, and then jumps out of it, the notification about that goes unnoticed.
It would be very helpful , if such notifications you could see above another player ship and somewhere else n the screen.
Manny people leaves their ships, ant you cant be sure if they have started that god-damn self-destruct sequence.
That is really annoying.

Second problem:

Atm while player is docking (dock is loading) and you press Enter automaticly changes station environment (from ship hangar to captains quarters or other way around). So if you are in a hurry to change the ship ant typing something in chat, so computer lags for at least 20-30 seconds to load the environment.
And you sit there, and you wait. And then you wait some more, because cant do anything by that "Change surrounding".
Is it possible to change that? That "Enter ships hangar" button wold not be active at the loading screen?

Thank you.

By the way- I love eve online. It is a great place to spend some time.

P.s. If the topic is in the wrong place-please relocate it

Well i guess moderator , or shortly CCP, don't reed all this crap, that goes thru the forums, but I am still hoping, that someone will...
Btw- about mwd/cloack trick. I have seen orcas using this lightly, not mention the battleships. It is how it is. This trick is , like someone said: fool-prove.

So: BUMP.

I did wonder how I caused the station environment to load accidentally, now I know, thanks :)

CCP, please fix this as it is annoying when it happens however infrequently experienced.

The second one is a valid issue, "Switch to the slower loading station" shouldn't be highlighted by default.

The first part of your post, however, is working as intended.

Self Destructing ships should have a red or whatever colored timer displayed either at the end of their name (when mouse hovers over the ship) or displayed underneath that ships [ ] bracket in space.

If ship is targeted, have it displayed under the ship icon.

This should obviously be toggleable under settings, for those that don't want this information.

Well yes- as ship is starting self-destruct sequence it is shown in same row as the damage you are receiving and it is working as intended. But the problem is - you cant see that by the wall of text your getting. If you are filtering the notifications, you can turn off all damage notifications, so you could see everything else, but that is also stupid.

Oh, Hi all again.
Forgot one thing to say about module repair in dock.
Would''t be great to repair selected modules (lets say all the guns or the webs, or whatever you like) and not only clicking one by one, or heaving option "repair all" witch involves the ships as well ?

CCP , low sec is counting on you!

It is already implemented. Right click on ship -> Get repair quote -> Repair All.

And as one who it usually being at the receiving end from pirates I don't regard cloak-jump as overpowered. It truly is idiot-proof, meaing utter idiots indeed can't catch me when I do it. But it's not totally risk-free.

That is the idea. I don't want "Repair all" i only want to repair my guns. Webs and a scramble are damaged, my ship is damaged, but there is no option like "Repair selected modules".

The other thing about repair. I have in hangar about 50 ships and about 200 modules types (everything else is in containers). So if you are in a hurry repair ship, yo still get a short lag (depends on the system lag) for system to calculate how much the modules are burned and how much you need to pay for all. True, you can push "repair all" an right after that undock- that's cool. Could the process be a little bit faster? Mo colleague has in ship hangar 167 assembled ships. Believe me- that makes the system so slow if he chose to open "repair" tab.

P.s. Am not whining about mwd / cloack trick. But that is really... annoying.

I would say no. You can't see the self destruct timer of a target ship. That's a way of defense against your type and is not fun if you have all your toys.

"That's a way of defense ..." Pardon me, sissies, but that is low sec. Sentries fire at us, we cant enter high sec and still you can use mwd / cloak trick, fight, or even use jump freighters, carriers etc. Isn't that enough? That self-destruct timer only a small game correction, not a general drake nerf :D
