Look out for trick wrecks with "PLEX' in them - TEARS ally

So, Cheesedog tried to steal a PLEX from someone else and got blown up for his trouble and he's mad about it?

Sounds like justice was served and TEARS has done an honorable thing.

Cheesedog should buy his own PLEX instead of trying to steal them from random wrecks.

What a dirty thief.

Sorry to disappoint you Smegma old pal, but we didn't war dec your corp. I suspect your CEO booted you because he wanted to avoid having an entire alliance of griefers chasing his alliance. No big deal though, we don't really care about the loot. There are always loot thieves around and we heartily support theft of all sorts. We have a NATI policy here at TEARS; not anchored, take it.

Actually, if you recall your little podding experience (the Smarty Geddon that you referred to), we were trying to pod as many White Knights as we could in one go, so there were 2 or 3 other dudes who took a dirt nap in that little LOLfest. We do that from time-to-time just for the LOLz. We're chasing TEST and Goons for the suicide cup (check the Dev Blog) so we have to stay busy you know, given how massively outmanned we are.

Oh, and in the interest of full disclosure, D3 and Bricksquad are the masters of this little scam and SN among others just have a go from time-to-time when we get bored doing other shenanigans. And finally, ninjas aren't mean, we're cuddly. It is known.

Tchell Dahnn was a complete ****, but he/she/it at least had the redeeming factor of being funny, fresh and original. Suddenly Ninjas has gone from being just that - something new and interesting - to being rather stale and pastiched. Time for you folks to figure out something new.

I said it at the time, and I'm saying it again - Suddenly Ninjas? Moar like Suddenly Ninnies. Big smileOops

On the other other hand, you haven't necessarily disagreed with what I've just said. Lol

PS This moustache took a lot of hassle to get, I'll have you know. I had to travel through the EVE Gate to Old Earth, locate the burial place of an ancient troubadour named Freddie Mercury, then clone him and de-moustache him. So there.

SN has done nothing BUT evolve over the years, as someone involved from the beginning.

Ninja salvaging as a group was the original innovation.
Due to the Lofty scam, we were the only ones able to easily form large fleets and complely suck a mission dry in seconds.

Sadly, CCP stepped in and killed the profession, along with the Lofty scam.

-Noctis (by making salvaging so easy, the salvage became almost worthless)
-LVL 4 Loot nerf (now mission runners only care about the bounties- which can't be stolen)
-Mission item theft nerf (now mission items respawn so quickly, there is no benefit to taking it)

As SP counts improved, SN evolved into a mission runner ganking corp, pioneering the use of Orcas to fool CNRs and Marauders into shooting at a frigate, then Orca switching into a Hurricane - while earning free sec-status by target painting their NPCs.

Naturally, bears screamed after losing their multibillion dollar Golems, even though it was their own aggression that led to their destruction. CCP nerfs incoming!
-Orca nerf #1 and #2.
-Sec Status 'harvesting' nerf
-Scan strength nerf

There was a period of very successful 'persistant wreck baiting' that occurred last year....
- but CCP stepped in and nerfed that too.

Was later discovered to still be possible to create a persistant wreck, at a higher price. No doubt that CCP will again devote resources to 'fix' this as well - even though the only victims are dishonest wreck thieves like the OP.

Corp infiltration was also fun for awhile.
-but CCP changed the rules again, allowing corporations to kick infiltrators - even mid-gank, leading to Concord death.

Wardecs, always a waste of time, are now completely worthless.

Skunkworks figured out how to harvest Incursion runners, but CCP stepped in to save them almost immediately, by screwing up the RR mechanic, leading to RR mods shutting off at inopportune moments in other situations.

So we now spend most of our time suicide ganking. Pretty much the only way left to collect tears efficiently. (and according to the latest Dev Blog on criminality, we are quite good at it....)

I have discovered the hard way, that there are groups of pirate flyers who intentinally blow up their own friends in a special hauling ship [iteron some days] with a cargohold full of equipment but also have a specially wrapped packache called "PLEX"

this is not a real PLEX and no matter what , you cannot grab this.

You can however grab everything else in the wreck and fly to a safe station and wait the 15 minutes of death away. I have made millions and millions taking from these wrecks but have been blowed up quite a few times trying. USE CHEAP FAST CHIPS

The pirate gang that does this is called TEARS and had 10-20 people hiding in invisible mode, and unhide themselfs when its time that someone stolen from you
They are mean. and wardecced my corp i was in due to me finding their trick out.
That is fine i am in new undeckable corp.

These TEARSers are so vicious that they spent 60M on a explosion battleship to kill my 500k ISK frigate.

I must have made them rly mad.

My battleclinic investigation shows TEARS places these fake plex in Perimeter system and in Niarja system.

Welcome to 6-10 months ago.

Bit slow on the uptake?

i am new to game but not new to fighting back against people who bully

My point is - don't treat everything YOU see as a new thing in this game.

Its rare anything "new" ever shows up in the category of "dirty tricks/scams/greifing tactics" these days.

Instead...ask around FIRST...dont make a bold post saying "OMGWTFBBQLUKOUTITSATARP" Cool

Wut is invisible mode?Is this like that shout you get in Skyrim?

they make their ships invisible. and become visible only when they are already shooting you

Ohh Cloaking. Now it makes sense. Invisible mode that's a new one to me.

But yeah don't think everything you see is "new".

This is my gate. There are many others like it, but this one is mine. My gate is my best friend. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life. Without me, my gate is useless. Without my gate, I am useless.

On this part i could not agree more

In the past we used this as a recruitment, and if we killed a new user at least replace his loses time 10.
As we all grow within New eden, regardless if people are stealing or not, its a low trick which i can not recoment.
