If i tell you X makes the most.. then people will read it and start mass producing that... then the price will drop and X will no longer make the most.

Also depends on multiple factors. how many planets? how much time are you willing to put in? Are you going to sell local or are you gona have to ship it?

Takes less than 15 min to do a basic pi spreadsheet. Yes, chances are a product involving pos fuel will be near the top of the most profitable list.

It's even easier to use EVEHQ's PI plugin. I just tried it for the first time last night. It will pull market data and show you almost everything you need to know. The only thing it seems to be missing is a place to put in taxes. But it's not that hard to extrapolate the tax burden from the numbers it gives you.

This is one thing that is totally dependent on your setup. especially in null sec.

For example many of the P3 Materials sell for less total value than the P1 and P2 mats that went into them. This however does not mean that it is more profitable to sell the P1 directly.

On paper it may look more profitable but if you consider hauling and look at the value per m3 than P3 and P4 are worth way more per m3 or per blockade runner load, the safest way to get it out of null and to where it sells at its highest(Not always Jita)

If you can off load it in the system you are making it for a good price then go for it, but if you need to get it to high sec to make that big profit you need to think a little more about it. Is it really more profitable to haul 5-6 loads of P1 out of null to high sec when you can haul 1 load of P3 or P4 and make almost as much isk as the 5-6 loads of lower tier stuff.

That being said making strictly POS fuel which is some P1(O2) mostly P2 and Robotics being the only P3 will always sell good. P3 and P4 will be more reliant on the market of the products they are used to make such as towers and POCO gantries.

If you want passive income you are best off making P2 as it will not require a factory planet, every planet type can produce at least 1 P2 efficiently and usually a couple others at lower efficiency from scratch with no import/export worries until the final product. You can reset the extractors remotely and only need to haul one load per week to high sec to bring in a good profit with minimal effort.

P3 and P4 materials can bring much higher isk per load but will require moving mats between planets usually to a factory planet every few days to keep things running. unless your planets, or at least your factory planet, have POCO's with low tax it will really cut into the profits.

WHA?!? You aren't just going to tell him exactly how to do everything? He has to figure something out for himself?

NO FAIR!

I don't know but volume out is going to be an issue. Anything you build will either have to be jumped to market or sold locally.

Alot of Alliance/Corps will buy POS fuels from their members. Not a bad idea to look into as it will limit your hauling. (I assume if you are doing PI in Null you are in a Null sec corp)
