@padraig animal
I'm also clueless as to what could be wrong here.

Suggestions:
1) Email me the log, if any is created (see: readme)
2) Re-download jEveAssets, unzip, and run.
3) Uninstall all versions of Java, re-install the latest version from java.com (preferable 64x).
4) Run scandisk
5) Run virus scan

Not sure if it has been mentioned.

I've been trying to figure out how to include Contracts in the 'Grand Total' but it doesn't seem to add it in even after marking the option to include sell contracts in the assets.

Is this something that could possibly be added?

Thanks.

I'm unsure what "Grand Total" you're referring to? What tool do you want contracts included in?
The setting should include it in the assets/tree tool, if that is not working, then it is a bug.

Apologies,

Tools > Values

You have a 'Grand Total' and it doesn't include or have the option to include the sell price of all contracts.

I left you a reply on UserVoice (Eve forum have not been working for me the last couple of days).

One more thing: Adding contracts for the values tool, also adds it to the tracker and ISK tools.
It will be the first thing I start working on after "Filters for ISK Tracker", but, I can't promise I can figure out the logic or when it will be done.

Awesome!

Thanks for all the time and effort you put into making this and adding new features. I find the tool very very useful.

Happy users FTW Big smile
Feedback is really what fuels the development.
The users create the ideas, I just code them.

I have already started coding the feature. The logic took some time to get right, but, I think It's working now.
I still need to do some more testing, before I'm confident enough to commit it, though
If you're interested, you're more than welcome to help by trying a test build of the feature.

I'm happy to help out with a bit of testing for sure!

Not sure if this is something weird happening for me or a bug - it always keeps pulling eve-central data even if I uncheck the price data option?

The way getting price data work ATM. is that if you uncheck the price option, it will get price data for anything new AKA anything that do not already have price data. With the price option checked it will update all prices.

In the next feature release you will have 3 options:
1) None = Don't update prices at all
2) New = Update items without price data
3) All = Update everything

If you feel like it's a major bother you could try the latest dev build.

Thank you for your feedback :)

Excellent, giving that one some try, seeing as the biggest problem atm is that I'm on a super slow connection (like 64kbit) the price thingy takes forever even when unchecked, probably because I have so many items that don't have any entry on eve-central, or price or similar - that it goes out to check it.

jEveAssets 2.11.0 Dev Build 3

Download: http://eve.nikr.net/jeveassets/jeveassets-2.11.0-dev3.zip

New Features:
-Transactions: Added average price to status bar and popup menu
-Market Orders: Added history
-Market Orders: Added last opposite transaction price/profit/percent columns
-Tracker: Total now only include selected values (Include/Exclude)
-Stockpile: Export/Import to xml
-Import/Export Filters
-More user friendly import of text
-Price Update Options (All/New/None)
-Jump columns (via table menu)
-Release updates via installer
New in Dev Build 3:
-Stockpile: Exclude Location
-Stockpile: Added contracts
-Industry Jobs: Added count to status bar and popup menu
-Tracker/Isk/Values: Added contracts
-Tracker: Added Location/Corporation Hangar and Wallet Division filters
-Advanced filters (experimental feature - need feedback)

Bug Fix:
-Fixed a lot of GUI problems on Linux (Unity/GNOME/KDE)
New in Dev Build 3:
-Contracts: kept old data after updating from the API

Attention Warning: This build may not be compatible with the final release and may corrupt your settings. Run with portable to be safe. Attention

Advanced filters example
[ASSETS] [Location and Items]
[2] [OR] [NAME] [EQUALS] [Antimatter Charge L]
[2] [OR] [NAME] [EQUALS] [Oxygen]
[1] [OR] [LOCATION] [EQUALS] [Konora VI - Kaalakiota Corporation Factory]
[1] [OR] [LOCATION] [EQUALS] [Aldrat IX - Pator Tech School]

Logical that is evaluated as;
(ItemType='Antimatter Charge L' OR ItemType='Oxygen') AND (Location='Konora VI - Kaalakiota Corporation Factory' OR Location ='Aldrat IX - Pator Tech School')

It should allow people to make a lot more complex filters, while still remaining relatively simple to use.
It's not a full solution, because, all 'And' will be evaluated as their own group, but, I'm open to feedback.
I really need feedback on this feature, both the GUI and if anything else that could be improved.
Please, also, note that the groups input won't be visible unless you have at least 2 "OR" filters

"Simple" suggestion that i don't believe i saw on this extensive list and can't seem to find in the program and it seems to useful to have not been thought of

can we get a way to modify the lower limit of the graph tracker?

it seems silly if i have only nodes between 8b and 10 b to still have 0.0 on the graph to shrink the rest i am interested in.

@Ardaven Semah
A quick search showed that chart library does indeed have that feature.
So, It should be possible and I can see how the feature would be useful.

I have added the feature suggestion on uservoice. You should go vote for it...

@EvaJustesen
jEveAssets is a java problem.

1) You need to download and install: java
2) You need to unzip the downloaded file, before you can run the program.
3) Double click on jeveasset.jar to run the program

@Clue
I don't own any 4K monitors, so, I can not test it myself.
Maybe, you could post a screenshot? that may allow me to give an better answer. :)

Suggestions:
1) Update Java to the latest version - there is always a chance the latest version will fix bugs.
2) No matter what screen you have (4K/HD/Full HD etc.), using the screens optimal resolution always gives the best result. In most cases the optimal resolution for a 4K monitor is: 4096 × 2160, using a lower resolution sometimes create distortion when the screen resize the display resolution to match the actual pixels on the screen.
3) Post the screenshot here and I may have other suggestions you can try :)
