Why not use the existing ammo system?

In space this would mean it would show 100 when brand new and 0 when its spent.

in the fitting window we could use the four dots that are used already to give a rough estimate. if its two of the four lit up it could mean the crystal is around 50%.


And then tack on the info window idea on top of this, a right click and info would give a precise read out of the crystal. equipped or not.

EVE is like swimming on a beach in shark infested waters,  There is however a catch...  The EVE Beach you also have to wonder which fellow swimmer will try and eat you before the sharks.
