I'm sorry for asking a question that many people probably know the answer to, but here goes...

using hi-sec (0.5) worlds for PI, is it often possible, as a rule of thumb, to keep even a single advanced processor running consistently only using on-planet extractors? If it is, the production model I want to try will be possible, but if not I'm thinking more of a 'factory-world' setup.

Yes, I should probably know this already, but I've actually only done PI in lowsec before, and am looking at moving my operations because, as someone who hasn't yet skilled into a t2 transport, I'm sick of dodging gankers every time I try and collect my goods.
Thanks!

Yes, but probably only one and you'd do better to find a nice wormhole.

heh, yeah I'd love to grab a few WH worlds, but I'm a solo player and no way do I have the ISK to fund a personal POS. It would be cool, though.

If your creating P2's .... generally yes

Though it is kinda dependant on your CC skill and the rarity of the P0's your working with.

It would probably require 16 HighSec Planets to fuel 1 P4 (Self-Harmonizing Power Core). 1 P4 running 24/7 is possible if you use all the characters on your account and they Must have Maxed skills(6 planets per char).

1x P4
6x P3
24x P2
48x P1

A profit of 1.224.000.000 ISK/month but you need to pay 265.680.000-317.520.000 ISK for TAX.
I wonder how much time it would take up for hauling and planet maintenance What?

EDIT: Wait you mean "advanced processor" Shocked
Ye with maxed skills 1 should always be possible. With good planets could also have 2.

A high-sec factory planet has no extractors.
Buy P1s
Import
Make stuffs
Export and Sell P2, P3, or P4s
Profit!
