Hi,

Firstly, thank you for a great programme!

I wondered if you planned to add mineral compression to it much like http://eve-industry.org/calc/

At the moment I need to export the minerals and the paste them into this site (it requires removing commas too). Not a big deal but would be nice to have everything in one place.

Thanks!

I started one but I got too busy to work on it. I'd like to get it done at some point though and now that compression is more widely done, Ill have to take a look at it again.

In the Manufacturing List tab, is there some way to filter out non-navy faction ships, or in general items you can't get blueprints for? I get tired of having to scroll past the pages of Quafe catalysts, Interbus shuttles and whatnot to find items I can actually make.

Edit: it seems a lot of the items I find useless clutter do have bpcs, but you have to get them from agent offers or loot drops or something. Is there a way to filter for items that I can make via blueprints sold on the market?

No option but a workaround:
Below the Manufacturing List there are two option: "minimum SVR" and "( ) show items without SVR value".
Either set minimum SVR to 0.1 and/or opt to not show items without SVR.
That should hide all those "high value items that won't sell at all" like Capital T2 scan rigs and most of the special edition items.

I put a quick fix to get around this - Build 3.1.5563.33678.

I put in an option to ignore the bps for special editions, ship skins and alliance tournament prizes. If you check the box in settings under general for this option, it will ignore these bps in the BP Tab dropdown and the manufacturing tab. The default is true.

Eventually this will be done through an ignore function that the user can set so I don't have to guess what you want to ignore or not.

I've updated to the non-test version and now I get this error:

It happens on start-up when IPH is displaying "Updating System Cost Indices...". It will stay like that for several minutes and then crash.

I've tried a fresh install and another PC, but the same problem occurs.

TBH this problem could also be CCP related, EveMon is giving me various API errors as well:

I am not able to get the newer exploration polarized blueprints and sleeper cache storyline blueprints (ex. 'Palisade' Cap Recharger) to show under Blueprints or Manufacturing List tabs for 'owned' blueprints.

If I set the default char in Manage Accounts
- then scan personal assets under Manage Blueprints
-- all of my exploration blueprints will display in the list.
- As soon as I close and reopen Manage Blueprint window the exploration blueprints no longer display under 'owned' blueprints
- they will display under 'Scanned Personal BP'

I have all Tech boxes checked.

This might be part of the recent update I put in. Uncheck the ignore rare bps and ship skins option in settings to see if they show up. If not, let me know and I'll see what's going on.

This might sound really random, but is there something in the program to play some sounds after an extended period of time?

I had left he program open for several hours, and had nothing running on the computer except for a few tabs on Chrome. Randomly I hear some ambient sounds like when you are undocked in game. I check the mixer in Windows and it shows some sound coming from just the soundcard (not from any of the programs). After a little bit I hear the sound of being targeted, being shot, shield alarm, armor alarm, hull alarm, then a ship exploding. I'm completely freaking out by this point. I check the task manager and Eve isn't running anywhere. While doing so, I hear the sound of being targeted again, and then of a pod being exploded. The sounds all stop. I log in to check all my accounts and everyone was still docked up in their ships.

I'm asking here because it's the only other thing that was running at the time, other than Chrome (Facebook, Reddit, Gmail). Whatever it was gave me quite a heart attack.

I've recently had a couple of cases where I saved the shopping list to disk and when I try to reload it I get "Cannot read file from disk - Error: Object reference not set to an instance of an object."

The files are fine, undamaged and I can open them in notepad/excel. There wasn't an IPH update between saving and reloading.

Other times the reload has worked fine, so something intermittently wrong somewhere.

Export format CSV.

Thanks

Oh, apparently my reply above didn't go through correctly.

If you can send me the file to zifrianeve@gmail or post it somewhere for me to look at, I can figure out what is going on. The problem is in my processing of the file for sure.

Thanks

I unchecked Rare BPs and it is working the same.

I can see the polarized BP's on the "Blueprint Management" windows under Scanned Personal PBs, but not under Owned Bps. "Manufacturing List": The Text Item Filter works for 'Polarized' if I select All Blueprints, but not for Owned BPs.

In the meanwhile I can work around the problem by using All Blueprints to determine profitability on individual BPs.

Thanks for a great program.

Cool, will do.

First time, both the saved shopping lists I tried failed with the same error, after a restart of IPH, they were both loadable.

Sorry I can't be arsed to look through 95 pages of posts to see if this has already been answered.

I am trying to figure out the "Manufacturing List" tab. I am looking at build 3.1.5563.33678.

In the lower pane of the "Manufacturing List" tab, there are two tab groups. The first of these has tabs labelled "Base," "Components," "Copy," etc. It appears to be intended to allow me to specify a facility where my manufacturing/research/copying/invention is to happen, and it appears to be hardcoded to always default to Jita IV-4 CNAP. If I try to change it to something else, the "Select Facility" combobox disables. I have two questions about this:

  1. Am I correct in my guess about what these controls are for?

  2. If so, is there some step I am missing that will enable me to pick a different manufacturing facility?

Yes, you're correct.

Select the correct region, then select the system, then the facility combo should re-enable. Did so in my quick test

There seems to be a shopping list bug in the most recent version when using the copy/paste assets functionality (not sure if applicable to API assets as well).

Version: 3.1.5563.33678

Steps:
1. Add a large number of Tech 2 ships to the shopping list.
- I added 15x Heretic (ME 3) w/ 15 Blueprints

2. Copy/Paste in game assets into Shopping List
- My assets included a number of Antimatter Reactor Units
- Pre-Asset Antimatter Reactor Unit Count: 225

3. Component Builds updated
- Post-Asset Antimatter Reactor Unit Count: 124

4. Raw Material Shopping List Updated (Incorrectly)
- Updates Fermionic Condensates to 203
^ I had no F. Condensates in my assets.
- Actual number required is 219 (POS + ME 10 BPO)

5. IPH does this calculation properly (just not on asset update). If I plug in 124 ARU's into the Blueprint tab, it correctly says I need 219 F. Condensates.
