The new Sleeper Cache exploration sites contain some 'storyline' blueprints such as 'Palisade' Cap Recarger and 'Joust' Heavy Pulse Laser. They show up on your website Market History but I don't find them inside IPH.

p.s. On your fuzzwork website and Eveblogger website I think you should display your name prominently in the red box for those players who don't know you.

I'll have to look at those specifically, it might be a simple fix to add. See if the new DB update didn't fix the issue. Also, I'm not Fuzzwork Blink

Hi there!

This tool happens to fill a void I'm looking at and running into an issue with, but it appears to be non-working. I've added all my API keys, including a full corp API for good measure, but it doesn't appear to be able to pick up the number of jobs running per-character for some reason. It also doesn't appear to be iterating over the available assets. Is there a debug log or something like that I could check into? I'm particularly looking to see how many research/production jobs are in per-character, it's getting difficult to track at the 20+ char mark.

Thanks!

The new industry jobs was added a few months ago. I'm not sure what you are describing. Post a screenshot if you can. On the assets, it only reads from the assets of the loaded character or the corporation of that character. Let me know if you are thinking something else.

SJ Astralana wrote:
Suggestion: Manufacturing List, Add Sort By option: Profit * Average Sold Daily. SVR isn't useful as it has some notion of how many can be built in a day which isn't at all relevant. Next, create a threshold for IPH.

Bottom line is, the amount of profit available for any item is simply its volume * margin. IPH works as a threshold, but beyond that it has little relevance in terms of which blueprints to buy, because a 1mil/hr high volume item will easily outperform a 10mil/hr no volume item.8,600.

I'll add this to the list to look at.

Donkey Haute wrote:
Sorry if this has already been answered, but on the 'Manufacturing List' tab, where does it get the list of regions under 'Location' ('Base' tab)? For Station and Outpost it's a very small list that doesn't seem to have anything to do with where I have assets, and I'd much rather have a complete list to choose from.

Let me know if you still have this issue with the update to the DB that should fix the regions and systems issues.

Heavypredator Singh wrote:
Probably a bug.

When You have like 3 BP and 3 lines it will count materials like for 1 line and 1 bpo - like if You have 3 x Capital Capacitor Control Circuit I Blueprint - with 3 lines it will show you need 999 x Melted Capacitor Console for 10 runs (one 999). But if You want to actually use 3 BP with 3 lines it will require 1000 (300/300/400).

Should be fixed now, let me know if you still get weird results.

I have been using this program for a while now, and its great. Though I have a few questions if anybody could please assist.

First Question
When I am planning a production run in the "blueprints" tab, there is a Lines and BPs area where total runs is filled in. I have been producing moderate sized runs of T2 ships. However I have noticed that when I buy what is on the planned production run shopping list, I find myself short in the last ship.

I'm pretty sure this has to do with rounding errors, because it would work if I had done say 20 T2 ships in that one run. However generally those would be split up in smaller groups do to the max runs of invented bpc's.

In one instance I did 8 T2 ships of one type. I had 4 blueprints with two runs each, ME 4 TE14. So when I placed them into IPH I would say Lines=4 and BPs=4. This didn't seem to adjust anything except for the total production time. The shopping list for components remained the same, and I keep having to add a smidgen more to complete the last run because each component would be off by a relatively small quantity.

So that concerns me because it would mean the costs are not calculated correctly in the way I put it in. I know it's still profitable because I account for it and a potential drop in sell price when I plan my runs. However it would be helpful if my operation ran smoother and I didn't have to fix the last run all the time by producing more components or keeping an inventory.

I like to run a lean operation so I can keep as much as my capital re-invested as possible using a JIT system. How can I better use IPH to make it more accurate?

This should be fixed now. Let me know if it doesn't look accurate.

Quote:

Second Question

Is there a place where Price import types are better explained?

I typically use Minimum Sell because I know it works off the current sell orders availability. I already can use my instinct and the market information to determine how much I think the sale price would be. However I'm curious about percentile sell and buy.

Overall I would just like to know more about what each option means, and how the program will use it. I feel I could be making better projections and find new opportunities.

These are the options provided by EVE Central. I'd go there and see if there are any write ups on what prices he provides. I think they are pretty self-explanatory but I'll add the idea of putting tool tips to the list.

Quote:

Third Question

How does IPH calculate the profitability of reactions?

For example some reactions require multiple towers. In one case it took two towers, each of which costs on average 700,000 isk per hour for fuel. So I place Hourly POS FUel Cost=700,000 and Number of POS=2. That should give it a sum of 1,400,000 IPH in fuel cost.

Then it lists the reactions, some with say 800,000 IPH. Now from what I can tell, some of those values are incorrect, because it seems the program doesn't compensate for the minimum number of towers needed automatically (thats why you fill it out). So you need to look at the required materials and determine how many POS will be required, then make adjustments to see it's true profitability.

However, I am wondering if the IPH listed uses the number of POS for something other than fuel costs. This would be important because if your using two towers, but have twice the output, that doubles the profitability. If the program is not compensating for the increased output, but does compensate for the costs, you will see the value understated.

Thanks!

Um I wrote this tab about 3 years ago, so I'd have to do some digging. Can you give me an example of what you see and I can track down what is going on?

Please let me know what BP it is and a comparison of what you are seeing on Fuzzworks and I'll track down the difference.

No and this is a common request. It's on the list, I just need to find the time to add it.

How can I delete the old station, or at least make it stop switching back?

Please let me know what tab and where you get this issue. If you can provide a screenshot and specific system info, I can probably figure out what is happening.

Sounds like you have a connection problem. Are you behind a proxy server? It's not usually that both sites would be down at the same time. Let me know if you figure it out.

You are missing some options there due to your resolution or maybe your fonts, which I'm not sure why they are changing. In any case, you shouldn't have 3 rows of tabs there and you are missing the save box, which allows you to save the POS location. If it's not saved, then I revert to the default.

Let me know if your resolution is (Medium 125% or just normal?) or what your font is that shows up in the screen shot. I'm seeing about fixing it to MS Sans Serif since I set these up very specifically to maximize space and the font is part of that.

Hello,

I recently downloaded and installed Isk per Hour 3.1 and now wants do update the prices. Unfortunately the Prices can't be updated from Eve Central. Everytime the following message appears (it is partly in German so I try to translate it):

"EVE Central Server is unvailable. The remote Server gives back an error: (500) Internal server error.
Please try again later."

Eve Central seems to be availaible if I enter the Website.

Can you tell me what I'm doing wrong or what I have to do?

Thank you :)

Today I installed the program update, and now I get all the Prices. Thank you very much! :)

But one thing makes me a little bit nervous. If I enter text in the field "selected blueprint" my firewall tells me that Isk per Hour tries to monitor my user activities. With other third party programs (like EveHQ) this doesn't happen.
