EVE IPH Industry Calculator Version 3.3 - Now with Live Market data!

I'm having difficulty to adjust the window size IPH and it is affecting the manufacturing list window especially the section that you adjust the facility type and its region and system. I can't see the bottom row of the buttons.I'm going to install IPH again when I reach home since I have bigger monitors.

The "Base" tab also keep resetting back to Location Branch and system 1IX-C0 as result manufacturing list only giving result for this particular system.

Also what do you mean by "Base" tab ? you mean General ?

Lady Areola Fappington:  Solo PVP isn't dead!  You just need to make sure you have your booster, remote rep, cyno, and emergency Falcon alts logged in and ready before you do any solo PVPing.

The program window has changed a bit to make for a 4:3 ratio (so in the future I can more easily change resizing). The window size is 1152 x 720 pixels.

The Base tab is a General station or POS you use for everything not listed in the other facilities, which are specialized for that type because of the limitations on where things can or cannot be built. For example, boosters can only be made in outposts and drug labs in 0.4 sec systems and below. The drop downs will take all this into account so you won't be able to select a high sec station to build boosters for instance.

When you say it keeps resetting, I'm not sure what you mean. Are you unable to select a different system or is it not loading it correctly when you save a different system as your default?

This is how it looks like in separate PCs I have, from what I can see an upper border of 4 buttons but I can't recognize the functionality of them till now. Big smile

I was able to change the facility type/ region/ system successfully to these tabs ( copy, invention/RE, components, T3 cruisers and sybsystems) and save it as default ( apparently the far right button that isn't showing is to save system as default). The only problem coming from base tab it keeps resetting back as soon as I hit calculate button.

Been playing with version 3.0 -- so far awesome job!!!! love it as much as i loved the old one

one question though: can tengus be produced in advanced medium ship assembly arrays??

All my reading has told me the answer is no, but it's one of the options given.

Also: when changing the ME bonus for a station, to signify it's been upgraded, the mineral values for the BPO do not change. Changing the array for the POS doesnt effect anything either. Changed it from the adv med ship assembly array for tengu production back to the subsystem array (2% ME difference) and material cost didnt change (time did)

Just wanted to double check. Thanks!

First off, thanks for putting the effort into making such a nice application!

I've run into problems with the 3.x version however. Whenever I try to add my character the program crashes with the following error message:

Source: System.Data.SQLite
Message: SQLite error
near "Averc": syntax error


It might just be a problem with my name containing characters that probably needs to be escaped in SQLite.

I was suprised as well but haven't actually tried it. The database says so right now but that has been wrong before.

On the me issues, I'll take a look again. The me bonus might not be enough to change the values though.

Yeah, it's the apostrophe in your name. I must have accidentally deleted the logic to deal with it on names. I'll get it fixed tonight.

What is your Operating System? Windows7 Ultimate x64
What tab or screen did the error occur? Start program
What are the steps to reproduce the Error? Start the program

When I started a program i see this error. I try reinstall at the program but not help.

I'm testing the beta 3.0 and, apart occasional crashes not very frequent, i also see the base tab resetting to Branch / 1IX-C0 when i hit calculate.

For Base tab i mean the one in the center of the manifacturing window, where you set the facility type and position where you do the production. I set it to my POS position and i also set Equipment for modules, Ammunition for Fuel and Large for large ships; last i hit the small save button nearby.

When i hit Calculate facility is set to Outpost and location to Branch 1IX

Question: what you mean for 'Include cost' ? the 40 fuel blocks/hours the POS uses to work ?

Thanks, I'm trying to figure this out now. I need to get most of Pheobe stuff incorporated before I can update though.

On Include cost, it's the total cost of facility use. I'm wondering if there isn't much use for this since afaik you can't build without some cost but in the past it was helpful to compare. For POS there isn't a way to include fuel costs yet but I hope to add that at some point.

How accurate is this tool for raw mining these days? I'm getting vastly different numbers on IPH compared to the Jita Mining Indices spreadsheet (32m/hr on IPH for one Hulk, 35m/hr on the Jita sheets for 3 Hulks)...they can't both be right

Building in a station you just have the install/rent cost that are job related, i think it could be useful to compare the cost you could have moving the production in a less expensive system or one with better teams

The problem with POS fuel is that it's a fixed hour amount not related with the fact you are using it to manifacture and research, and there is the unknown variable of how many other people use and share it unless you are in a single man corp using the POS at 100% of its power

Hey Zifrian you are a genius man! (and anyoneelse that helps him). IPH is an amazing app and I'm glad you're still developing it.

So the ME and TE are still shown in the old way. Will that be updated at some point? If not, wont that throw off all the totals?

It's on the fix list. Just put in the current values (10/20 for perfect) and it should work. Works for me, anyway.

First of all, Thank you for your hard work creating and updating this wonderfull tool.

I have noticed an 'issue' though whith the shopping list.

For instance, I am building the same item from 5 different blueprints, each having 5 runs each.

When adding them to the shopping list to buy the material, It adds all 5 up to eachother (making 25). This will give a wrong result because of the way materials are rounded in the formula eve uses. It will cost less material to build 25 items in one go then to build 5 items from 5 different blueprints.

Follow me?

For instance, a fully researched Antimatter Charge XL

if you do 1 job runs on the blueprint, it will cost 16.001 Trit, do that 100 times and it will be 1.600.100 trit
If you do 100 jobs runs in 1 go, it only costs 1.600.020.

while 80 trit isnt much and easy gettable, you will have to go back for that extra material.

So is it possible to not add up the same blueprints to the shopping list when added multiple times but keep them seperate in their own calculation?

I have started using this very cool program again recently, but perhaps I am a bit ********, I can't get my owned bp's to show up in the blueprint section under manage blueprints, or under the blueprints tab under owned.

They do however show up in my asset list if I go to View>Assets.

Am I doing something wrong?

Getting an exception on fresh install after character import and select. After first crash getting the same exception immediately after start.

An Unhandled Exception has occured and EVE Isk per Hour will now close.

Hi,

First, thanks a lot for the hard work, it's great a version 3 is on its way. It's a great tool and the new version is already very usable and efficient.

Unless I'm mistaken, it seems that the calculation of the invention cost does not take into account the success chance. This can have a significant influence for small objects. I suggest to divide the cost of the invention by the success probability (thus increasing it), unless you purposefully want it the actual way.

On a purely cosmetic note, it would be nice to be able to strall down with the arrow keys in the BP menu - it's already possible in the decryptors menu for example.

Version 2 did, so if version 3 doesn't, that's a bug. Quick way to check, go to the View -> Character Skills and change one of the affecting skills. See if the invention cost changes as a result.

In the Manufacturing List:

The base tab, default seems to be Jita. Whenever I change the Base to POS, different region and system, different modules and save, it keeps resetting to Station, The Forge, Jita whenever I hit -Calculate-.

Also, is there a way to toggle off/disable unwanted columns in the Manufacturing List? Woulda been great as there are so many and most of them I don't need. I noticed that I can move tabs like ME, TE and Profit which is nice but not tabs like Profit %, Item Market Price, IPH ,Total Cost and Manufacturing Job Fee. So I need to sidescroll every time instead of having the wanted columns within the same window. Also if I resize/narrow a bunch of columns they are all reset upon next program startup.


EDIT: The toggling of columns I failed to see was already there. My bad What?
