I'm getting this same problem when I am trying to update prices. I can do Amarr prices just fine, but Jita's kind of a big deal... >_<

Getting the same error pulling Jita prices. Dodixie prices work fine.

OK, I'll take a look. EVE Central was making some changes this weekend I think. Had some issues with updates when I was working on the program.

OK, I'm double checking now but can you give me an example? Thanks

It seems to only affect T2 production for me, for example, 120 Hawks doesn't take 21 days to manufactore with 20 lines running. But the BP production time seems to be right, 4 days. So it must be the production of the components.

OK well, you need 90k of Titanium Diborite Armor Plate and that takes 17days on one line. Add in 4 days for the blueprint (can't build the hawks until you have the plates) and it's 21 days. I think what you were seeing in the past was a bug that I corrected, where it would use the num bps for the components as well. This wasn't intended. In your case it was basically saying you had 120 armor plates, 120 merlin, etc.

I make the assumption you have 1 bp for each component because doing the calculations with multiple bps is pretty complex. I'm assuming you have more than one bp per component?

Problem is, multiple bp calcs are pretty hard from what I've found and it's incredibly complex to calculate the total production time. Ideally I would have it set up to show a combination of blueprint production where you could maximize your time. Like use 5 of the 10 bps you have to build x, use the 3 bps you have to build y, but I just don't have those calculations done and might not ever. It can get complicated with just 1 bp and even more with multiple.

I'm trying to fix the existing issue I have where you have less lines than components first. Then I might look at multiple bp usage.

This seems to be re-occuring randomly. I'm not sure what to do but checking to see if there are updates ongoing or something that would cause this.

Thanks for this.

One thing I noticed is when not using a hauler, the ISK per hour goes Up when it should go Down when you increase the minutes to round trip to a Station.

The default is set at 1 min, but if I increase it to 30 mins, the ISK per hour goes up. It should go down.

1st of all many thanks for this awesome job, pros/Internets for you sir.

I have a question, might be a stupid one but whatever: is there any option so that I can see the amount/value of reprocess from ores/modules I can get with [whatever specific toon] ?

I've run into what appears to be a rather odd bug. Updating the industry jobs appears to clear the 'owned blueprints' list. Restarting IPH brings them back.

Repo (tried 3 times, exactly the same behaviour)
Start IPH
Blueprints tab, click 'owned' and check the drop down. Lots of owned blueprints. Click any other of the radio buttons
View -> Current Industry Jobs
Click the 'update jobs' button (I have the option 'Both' checked, as well as having a personal and a corp API key linked)
Close Current Industry jobs.
Blueprints tab, select 'owned blueprints'. Click drop down. It's empty. Blueprint management also shows empty for owned blueprints, as does manufacturing tab. Reloading from a backup of the BPs doesn't bring the blueprints back, restarting IPH does.

This has been happening to me for a version or two, was only today I figured out what appeared to be the cause

Thanks I'll see what I can do.

Not yet. This is on my list though. EVE Refinery? I think is a program that does this although I haven't used it much.

Thx for answering that fast, I've actually tested EveMeep for this unique purpose but it's really messy from my lazy user point of view.
Going to try that out, thanks and keep the awesome work ;)

Edit: Encountered this issue while trying to check "Owned" in Blueprint Tab:

Wonderful program. I really wish the Orca was represented in there, too, though. It would make things a lot easier. My corp uses an Orca for the mining boost. Makes it a lot easier. Other than that the program is good.

Viewing ships for boosting is based on the skills. So initially you won't have the orca listed until you have Mining Foreman 1 selected. Let me know if that helps.

Hi Zifrian,

I am using your awesome tool for months now. Also I manage from time to time to catch up with the posts here on this topic. I am not sure if anyone have noticed but I think your tool needs a couple of things to get a little better in terms of usability, in general.

First I think you need to consider in enabling the re-size of the main application window. Who doesn't hate scrolling. It is a little clumsy to have a big monitor to view things but not able to re-size your tools.....

Second, Is there any possibility to publish any type/kind of documentation? I mean seriously...a forum is a good way in communicating things, learn from each other etc., but when it comes to the use of an application, as complex as yours, I think an accumulated information and maybe a couple of tutorials all together in a nice package would be a good idea. May I suggest some video tutorials, in case the documentation editing is not your thing?

Third but not last...translations.Here, the community may contribute as well, and would be a plus for your already good application, if it can be translated in other languages too.

Just think about the above.I hope i am not re-posting other people's ideas. If this is the case, please forgive me but I lack the will to search the entire thread from top. In that case just consider my points as additions to popular demand.

Thank you.

Not sure what wine is, but I was looking at Mono for porting to Linux and Apple. Basically it'll have to be easy and not involve a lot of extra coding. However, seems like a more popular request lately so I might dig into it some more.

Thanks for the comments.

On the window size, I have toyed around with different ideas but I haven't looked at implementing anything yet. I've had some experience with changing the size of programs to fit different windows but it can get painful quickly. So I want to make sure I'm "getting it right" before doing anything substantial. I may go in phases and see if it suffices for users.

On the Documentation, yeah...it's on the list. But yes, I'm planning on doing videos and putting them on Youtube. I've written documentation before but it's too hard to keep updated and it's much easier to talk through it. But the reason really why this doesn't have any documentation is that I never intended on it getting this complex. The list of ideas I have to implement yet are even more complex so documentation has become a necessity. I'll put together something soon.

I haven't thought about translations but it's something I can look at.

I keep a running list of suggestions and will be eventually posting them to the main site so others can see them. I will add these as well :)

Hey

Just DL'd this and it's pretty cool so far. Lots of good data in there. Some confirmations and some eyebrow-raising.

Anyway...one minor thing and one less minor:

1) The invention Results Monitor: Neat tool. Was tracking via spreadsheet, but this is much easier. The issue is with the calendar for selecting date ranges. I cannot change the year to anything but 2012. Not sure if this is just a visual error, as the calendar box indicates other years. The returned data changes, so I think it's just a visual error in the "Select Date Range" fields.

1a) The program "errored out" (CTD) on me when I tried to look at a perpetual motion machine that I invented waaaay back....maybe it's in db anymore?

2) I can't seem to get it to load my BPs. Not sure if this is an API thing or something else. I assume it's something from my end, as this would be problematic if it were the program. I selected the 5 API categories listed on the opening post of the thread. The BPs are currently located in an NPC station and not in any sort of container. I get nothing in the "Blueprints" tab of main console nor in "Blueprint Management" so I figure it's not getting my data for some reason. All other char data seems to have imported (skills, standings, etc.)

TIA for any assistance,

TB
