Hi!

On the Mining tab:
If I change the 'Select Type' from ORE to ICE, I can't select a ship (only option is NONE) and the drop-down 'Miner Name' is empty.

The imported Char has all necessary skills to use a Mackinaw with Ice Harvester II

Cheers,
Camwor

Try and manually update the skills to give more options in the drop down. The ships listed are based on the skills in the combos on the screen. I've been trying to make this work better but it's a bit more complicated than I want.

New Build

Build 2.1.4566.39363

  • Updated images to Inferno 1.1
  • Updated database to Inferno 1.1_73052
  • Updated base Market Tax rate to 1.5% from 1.0% based on Inferno 1.0
  • Saving settings on the Reactions tab will no longer cause a program error when reopening the program.
  • Users can now override a skill to Level 0
  • Overriding a skill you already have to a lower level (e.g. Production Efficiency to 4 from 5) will no longer be updated to its original value on start up.
  • Production Efficiency levels other than 5 will now display the correct amounts of materials for all items with Extra Materials. Please report errors (rounding or otherwise) that you may encounter if you have less than PE 5.

Let me know if there any obvious differences in your material lists after this change. Want to make sure it's exact for all PE levels, especially 5. Of the items I checked, they seemed OK.

In the shopping list window, in the bottom right corner where you can see the "Total Built Item(s) Volume", the number displayed is for unpacked state, could this be changed to the packaged size number instead, that's usually how you move stuff(also can't move unpackaged ships in many ships). Big smile

I'll add it to the list and see what I can do.

Is there a way to get the app to pull in the ME/PE data from blueprints when you do the scan for personal assets or do you have to manually edit every single one you have?

Nope, I can't get the ME/PE data from the API so you have to enter them. It's one of the most asked for features but the API doesn't support it.

I've added a few options to make it a bit easier though. You can update several BPs in the update at a time. You can also export the blueprints list to csv, edit that file, then import it (probably a good idea to keep them backed up after you update them). And in the next update you'll be able to update them directly in the grid.

Hi Zifrian,

Just inquiring as to what your plans are around the SVR stuff, I assume it is coming from evemarketeer which is not being supported at the moment. Because of this, I assume it is the reason I always get the 'Unable to update all price volume data at this time' message and get next to no svr results in the manufacturing tab.

Will you be waiting it out until the site is supported again or changing your program to use another method?

Thanks, and also thanks for the contribution you make to the community and myself with your software.

Yeah, I get the average volume data from EVE Marketeer.

I didn't know it wasn't being supported anymore but I'm not surprised by the amount of issues he had with it. I actually added an option to ignore SVR downloads to IPH due to issues with it. You can set this in the Program Settings. I noticed issues with it lately but hoped they would fix themselves. From the website it says September when he'll get back to it.

I'll look around for another option but I haven't been able to find anything that gave price averages like this did. Although it looks like EVE Market Data supports price volumes now. It also seems to support more than Jita prices too. So I'll look into that. EVE Central does not but I liked the stability, API for prices there, and the region/system variety. Apparently there are many unified uploaders now so the prices are all generally the same so this might work fine.

I'm open to any suggestions people have and will gladly look into them.

Edit: I got EVE Marketeer to work pretty well. Still tinkering with it but I'll get it into Version 2.2. I have a few other things I'm trying to get done for that update that I need to finish first.

I use EVE Marketeer and it's currently not working. I'll have a new version using EVE Market Data soon. See above three posts.

I'm trying to build the "EVE Isk per Hour" from source (and not the DataDumpUpdater or Updater) and it seems that you have not checked several of the files into svn. It seems to be missing:

app.config
EVEMarketDataAPI.vb
frmMineMinerals.vb
frmPatchNotes.vb

There is also a SavedOldCode.vb in the vbprj but as far as I can tell it is unused. I have tried to hack the code to do without the above files and I think they are needed.

Why was I attempting this? I was going to modify the code slightly to point it to my own market data that I collect out in null sec and add shipping costs for things I can't get out here.

I just uploaded those so you should be OK now.

I really only use this to save a copy of the program in case my hard drive craps out (well and SF requires you to for hosting). Never really intended anyone to use my code. If I did, I would have done a better job writing it Lol

I have been going through the code and it is not bad! Perhaps you just got a new dev to help you make it better. Or at least you can know that your backup is complete once I get my side working. No promises but we'll see... At the very least I'm forking it to see if I can make it work with a custom market dataset, which I'm pretty sure I'll be able to do.

I have been able to build and run the code successfully now (at least the EVE IPH component). I think I must have a newer version of Visual Studio because I was getting an initialization exception:

Quote:
Mixed mode assembly is built against version 'v2.0.50727' of the runtime and cannot be loaded in the 4.0 runtime without additional configuration information

Which is solved by adding

Quote:
useLegacyV2RuntimeActivationPolicy="true"

into the configuration startup block of the app.config. What version of VB or Visual Studio are you using?

I'm getting very far and I can't quite run it in debug mode yet because I didn't allow the updater to run to create the SQLlite database. I tried to run the updater from the codebase and it was failing because I didn't have zipforge from componentace installed. A quick install of the trial version and I'm up and running.

Now I'm stuck at running the Updater and I'm getting this execption again like the main program:

Quote:
System.IO.FileLoadException: Mixed mode assembly is built against version 'v2.0.50727' of the runtime and cannot be loaded in the 4.0 runtime without additional configuration information.
at EVEIPH_Updater.frmUpdaterMain.BGWorker_DoWork(Object sender, DoWorkEventArgs e)
at System.ComponentModel.BackgroundWorker.OnDoWork(DoWorkEventArgs e)
at System.ComponentModel.BackgroundWorker.WorkerThreadStart(Object argument)

Which is what I was getting before with the main program, but the trick I tried to add useLegacyV2RuntimeActivationPolicy="true" to the startup argument to app.config is not working. Again, it might be the version of VS I'm using. Any ideas?

I'm using Visual Basic 2010 Express (Version 10.0.40219.1 SP1 Rel). Also, you might want to check your .Net version.

For zipforge and SQLite, just download the dlls in the binary files on the site. The SQLite was a bit annoying but you need the one that includes all the .Net 4.0 runtime installed.

FYI It seems this needs to have some flexibility with variable font sizes.

I can't see any of the text on the barely seen three buttons on the Import EVE API pop up that is showing on my first installation.

G'day Zifrian,

Firstly your application is great, it has saved me a lot of messing around and updating alot of spreadsheets.

IPH was working fine on my old computer, however having a problem using it on my new laptop. Everytime I go into POS edit I get the following error:

An Unhandled Exception has occured and EVE Isk per Hour will now close.
Please copy the data below for sending to developer.

Source: System.Data.SQLite
Message: SQLite error
no such column: Mat Type

Also, please fill out the following information as appropriate:

Operating System: Windows 7
Screen or Tab where Error Occurred: POS Data
Steps to reproduce the Error: Clicked on POS Data and/or Edit POS

Still works fine on old computer, and all the settings I can find are all the same.

Any help would be appreciated.
