Stole some ships from an unsecured SMA before he could be stopped. Its a pity seen as he wasnt actually going to be kicked, he just forgot to post on the LOA thread on our forums.

He was responding to a corp mail which I sent out in regard to members going afk for months at a time telling them that ships from people unsubbed to the game would be seized.

Yeah my thoughts were along the lines of LS's. I mean on the one hand I'm glad someone posted evidence (for once), but on the other hand if there's any truth to the allegation that the guy was going to have his things confiscated by the corp then it's no wonder he decided to hit back.

I'm new in the corp, but the situation as I understand it was a corp mail detailing that if a member doesn't log in for more than a month without giving any notification or reason for his absence on the corp forums, his assets would be seized (to make room for assets for active players, as we live in a wormhole and hangar space is not unlimited).

The thief in question was not in that situation, had not had his assets seized and was nowhere near the 1 month mark. Also, had he been getting close to that mark all he would have had to do was post a message on our forums and he'd have been in the clear.

He is simply using that as an excuse to cover the fact that he's a common corp thief.

So, accept this guy into your corporation at your own risk.

One such occasion, out donation was larger then the amount of the theft.

Please don't let this one individual jade your views of Eve players. Theres probably only one guy in a thousand players who would do this bad thing. You were just unlucky to have his turn on you. I am sure your rigorous security measures are up to par, don't think it is your fault this happened.

Try to keep your head up and remember, the sun always rises. I have seen many corps such as yours turn out stronger than before, as members pull together to recoup the losses after such a heist was pulled on them. Please elaborate what your feelings were after being taken by a trusted friend please. This will help us understand your plight and hopefully help you heal the emotional wound you are suffering right now.
