We've received a number of reports from players who have experienced either heat or hardware issues with EVE Online: Incarna. If you are one of those who are affected by this, please file a technical support petition, and include the following information:

1. Indicate what type of issue you are having, please be as specific as possible
2. Indicate whether you are using more than one client
3. Provide information about your computer:

Windows client
a. In Start, type "dxdiag" and hit enter
b. Select the "Save All Information" button and save the file
c. Attach the saved file to your petition

OS X
a. Go to the Apple menu
b. Select "About This Mac"
c. Click the "More Info" button
d. Copy the information from both the "hardware overview" and "graphics/displays" windows into your petition

If you would like to monitor and provide information regarding your hardware temperatures, we suggest that you use Speedfan (Windows only), which can create a log that you can send to us as well. OSX users can use atMonitor to obtain similar information.

If you are a multiple client user, we suggest that you read the following dev blog by CCP Zulu, which has information on both the minimum specifications for EVE Online: Incarna and how you can best run the client.

You may also wish to set your settings to: Present Interval, Interval One and disable Physically Simulated Cloth and Hair.
