If the next test is to be decided can you kindly unsticky this info and put it in the info portal until it is relevant again. No sense wasting one of the front page spots with a sticky that doesn't convey anything in the immediate term.

Wow you really are going to keep this stickied even though there is no mass testing going on or planned? What a waste of sticky space

We planned it - but it won't happen this Thursday. Ugh Tomorrow we will have another mass-test for CarbonIO on the client (which is required for Time Dilation) and the mass-test for Time Dilation will be hopefully next week.

Can we update the Mac Sisi client now or do we need to wait? It's been awhile so I figure there will be some serious downloading involved.

Singularity is still running the TQ code, but it should be updated soon (either this evening or tomorrow morning). The patch for it should be quite small (14MB for the Mac, if I am reading it correctly).

Patcher was damn slow. If it's not too late I'm bringing in a Mac..

I will try to make it out, I only play on Mac and have witnessed a few freezes. Seems like it is always in warp and with any graphic settings set above the low setting. I currently have a 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo 4GB 1067MHz DDR3 w/ a NVIDIA GeForce 320M Graphics card laptop and usually have no issues when settings are set on all High until the last few client updates since the introduction of Incarna. My Mac OS X is Snow Leopard.

I've noticed in game that warping from Gate-to-Gate it will freeze mid warp and only my cursor will be moveable, but nothing clickable. If I it happens again I will see if I can try and pin point more exact of my actions that might have frozen it. Also I never run anything in the background, so it is dedicated to Eve when playing. Hope this helps for now, and hopefully the real world will allow me to join in on the test with my Mac.

The captains quarters look pretty good. My character? Not so much. She somehow managed to become anorexic, telekinetic, and developed vitiligo from the neck down. Ugh

EDIT; I see this is in the wrong thread.

Well, I was going to tell you about my troubles, but when I paste the log it says I cannot post HTML (lies!) and there's no way to attach a log here without using a third party.

Here's a summary:
* Step 4/7 I get errors
* Steps 5-7 proceed
* Start again at step 1
* See above

I let the above run for about 30 minutes before I gave up.

Here's a snippet:

I've deleted the cached data for the SiSi Launcher and I have 6G of free space.

PS: Tried again today (didn't even reboot the computer) and now patching works, as well as EULA acceptance and logging in.

Sisi client is broken. Cannot get past the EULA window. It needs to scroll to the bottom, but the window has no content.

I can't connect to the server just now, guessing it might be down or the client has the wrong address to connect to, as I definitely have an internet connection
