We like Eve, all aspects of it. We make our ISK with PvE, but PvP is a nice part of Eve. Well we like it organized, otherwise we couldn’t make our ISK the way we do. So if you like to agree some Rules of Engagement (RoE) we are happy to be at war with you!

Our RoE:
- we ask corporations or get invited to make war, it is supposed to be fun. CEO’s of each corporation contact eachother to agree terms
- No podding - we both have expensive implants we don’t want to loose over a silly argument. Come on, you really need that? Right......
- PvP timeframes - we chase eachother at agreed days and timewindows. That way our 1 bln freighters can be out of harms way.

Currently, these rules of engagement can be confirmed to CEO, CEO of the corporation

Strike 1
You declared war without asking us first? Well that happens to the best ;-) It’s just strike 1.

No damage done. Our CEO will contact you to see if above RoE can be agreed. If so then the strike is lifted and you have a clean sheet. We are more than happy to fight you then!

Strike 2
You didn’t agree to our Rules of Engagement before the war starts? Not funny. That’s your second strike.

Bellum
So we are at war, conditions agreed hopefully. It’s gonna be fun.

If agreements were not made read the following section carefully or you might regret you didn’t forever,,,,,,,,Our corp is organizing a hunt for you. If we find you, we will shoot you but not POD you. If you shoot back at us though we will POD you and you get your 3rd strike. GAME OVER.

Strike 3
You decided to fight us? Bad move. You earned your third strike.

Now we are really angry with your corporation. Not only you do not agree to some rules of engagement, you tried to kill us. We take our next measure. We’ll create a public channel where we will invite all enemies you made along the way to hunt you relentlessly. I imagine with your approach you gathered a couple........

Yours will be .KANE-WAR. I will put relentless energy in that so to make your Eve hunting miserable from now on. You can find me there allready for a good chat if you like.

I don’t have to undock to make money, so don’t wait for me to get shot.

Post Bellum
Well you come to the point where you ask yourself, is there a way back? Yes there is, we don’t want sorries, it was your bad decision, keep it. We want your money, 100 million ISK for every member you took a shot at, and all damages refunded to us. Then we will stop feeding the public channel. But it’s a public channel...... maybe we inspired other corporations in there and they might continue. So be wise:

Thanks Argaral,

The CEO is more bark than bite so I am not expecting much from them, don't wanne waste your time.

On another note, I think it is time to switch Cruisers around a bit. I have started noticing that more and more ships I am going up against in the more familiar systems I frequent, people seemed to buff them against kinetic and thermal.

I saw a merlin flipping cans in a belt so I did what I normally do. Made his cans MINE....

So there I am, he is the only one in system. 5 minutes later two extra corp members enter system. A hurricane warp in and I see hardeners activating so I think good.. shield Cane, will go down quickly. no eyes on 3rd member. Cane scrams me and away we go.

He is not moving allowing me to get perfect shots as I orbit in my optimal. Now im going hmmmmm.... im doing very little damage, I get him to half shields before I popped. Lesson learned, when waiting that long for people to engage expect them to be prepared or tanked for my specific damage.

On another note, I need to remember to take the drops from ships I pop and leave it in station before I engage somebody else.

Loss:

Also I don't understand some people who think it is a good idea to engage a 500dps Cruiser at point blank range with a faction cruiser.

That is all I will say for that.

http://kane.killmail.org/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=12747834

Not to mention a bait osprey.

http://kane.killmail.org/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=12747833

Normally a bait osprey has some sort of backup.

That is a horribly fit bait osprey.....and only an imbecile would engage a Thorax in an Osprey without backup and/or without nearly certain knowledge that the Thorax is noob fit......

However, that aside, MOST bait ospreys that I have seen DO operate solo....they are very effective at murdering pretty much any frigate without requiring backup when they are fit properly.....not so much against larger ships.

I don't log in - I don't need to. My very existence griefs people. They see my name, and they instinctively fill with rage and indignation. Deny it all you want - but if you didn't care, you wouldn't have posted, would you?

It certainly has been an interesting weekend.

Finished Gaylentte Cruiser LVL 5 and promptly fitted up a Deimos. The Thorax Bigger Cuisen.

Decided I am going to try it agaist my War Targets and do see if I can get people to engage like they do agaist the Thorax.

Thats aside, this is now offically my fav ship. My god how tight this ship makes my pants, and no. it has nothing to do with it's phallic shape, so you stalkers that give me free ships. Keep dreaming.

I got 3 wars running, the corp has been extremely disciplined.. IE not undocking hence they never see me either since I don't like camping stations. I see one of them logged on and run two locators 5 minutes apart. ah he's traveling and ended in a dead end system, so I park my ass on the gate at the other side with my Deimos. He jumps through in Raven and I giggle with excitement.

http://kane.killmail.org/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=12774047

He promptly warp of and im at his wreck going through the loot looking checking if there is anything shiny. He comes back in a manticore.... and engages me at point blank range.

http://kane.killmail.org/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=12774046

He warp off and logs off. It's late and I gi to sleep. Apperently that lost was enough for the ceo to take refuse in an alliance. I leave my client logged and dock up. Wake the next morning to alot of noise, as 4 of the alliance guys are in system calling me out. They convo me as well to get me to undock.... while i was sleeping. So i responf to convo and yeah what?

Local erupts into.. "KANE IS AT HIS KEYBOARD, EVERYBODY DOCK UP OR WARP OFF"

I undock in the deimos and I have this irritating kitsune getting jams on me. Got a ferox and a few other ships shooting at me.

Now for the most part you would expect people to fit properly when they go to engage people.

Well... everytime i get lock back it takes me 1 to 3 shots to take out a ship before the kitsune gets another jam on me. Did not expect them to pop so fast.

http://kane.killmail.org/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=12776804
http://kane.killmail.org/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=12776803
http://kane.killmail.org/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=12777109

At that point the Ferox pilot docs and the kitsune pilot leaves system. The ferox pilot tries to leave in a Rokh and starts crying in local (The same dude that kept calling me out) to please let him leave system. He is not engaging now.

I get a convo from some random dude, Alliance Leadership I presume who is in a corp that looks after the alliance. In the end, I get 400mil to move along. Check Check, 400mil in my bank and retract the war. ISK makes me happy and since my only form of income is pvp, I need every little bit.

Aside from that I decided to do some can flipping in to Deimos.

Saw a merlin flipping other peoples cans so i flip their can. He promptly leaves system and a few minutes later two of them in system. A retribution warps in and engages, merlin pilot warp in with Drake and enagages. ECM drones are launched and like ******* murphy law they jam me. ECM drones will always work on you.. never when you bloody use them. I manage to pop all the ECM drones, retribution pops in two shot Drakes warp Away.

http://kane.killmail.org/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=12778438

He docks waiting for agression to die out... and comes back in a punisher and engages me without agression...

http://kane.killmail.org/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=12778451

Got more will post some other time.. need more stories people.

I was full of happieness as i returned home from work today. The new wardec will be fightable by today.

"Logging in"

Lets check my people & places if they´re online. They were. Took me around 10 minutes to realize that 7 of 8 left that corp.
:sigh:. The new corp got around 80 members. Retracting the old war, starting a new vote (with myself, you never know).

As no other wars were active i decided to go on a "mining roam". I flipped a can here and there. No fighting.

Back at my starting system i boarded my pilgrim, undocked and launched my probes. Didn´t take that long to find a megahtron-signature.

Docked again i picked up my shotgun and cleared my typhoon from the rats. I met that megathron right after the 1st acc-gate salvaging his wrecks. As the helpfull person that I am I started to check the wrecks for usefull items.

"incoming convo"

Mega:> like i would attack you with my pve ship
Me.> no problem, i just warp to the next stage. Here´s enough ISK for both of us.

Mega leaves system and left me behind ship spinning in space. I docked up, jumped into my sleipnir and warped asap back to the 1st room. It does take about 10 minutes for the runner to return again in his mega.

He approached me, locked me and started to punch me with blasters. A tight orbit prevented him from dealing troublemaking damage. As he went down to 20% armor i spent to much attention to his light drones (i even attacked them with my warriors). So i missed that he moved away in a straight line from me. He started to hit hard at this time. As he finaly popped i was at low shields.

http://stonecold.eve-kill.net/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=12794546

Question of today: what´s better than a buffer tank or an active tank? A buffered active tank (or a active buffered tank?) And don´t forget to bring the mandatory cccs and cpu with your "pvp ship". And NEVER bring heavy combat drones.

Decided to visit my new war targets in Gallentte space.

I was dared to show up so I did not feel like dissapointing them.

Now I had a dilema, what to take, there is a few of them and most are alot older than I am. Do I take my dependable HAM Legion, or stupidly High Resist Buffer HAM Tengu. Nah.. Gallente space so lets fit in with the rest of the populace down there. I just finished my subsystem skill training and I fit up a Protues.

I take her out on her Maiden voyage to Dare enter the system they all chose to hide in. Hoping I fit it right for it's first Flight.

See 3 in system 1 docked and 2 of their younger pilots mining in a belt with inty and a brutix. I felt that I needed to save that brutix from it's live of shooting at roids.

Nothing gets Corp Chat going like two new members loosing their ships and getting podded.

Not long after the man who dared me to show up opens caht with me. Apperently I am now in a world of hurt. Screaming that I have made a mistake for killing his noobs.

I see a Drake coming. Old player so I think.. damn Buffer Drake with stupid resist, should take me a while. I also notice another player entering system in a Talos. Also a very old player.

Drake lands and goes down in less than a minute, Talos warp back to station and docks.

T1 fitted Drake, WTH?

He notifies me I killed a noob fitted drake... and that I will be taught a lesson. The newer guys notifies me Corp chat is hilarious at how angry this guy is. I give the new guy ship i popped some isk to replace, including the drop from the drake.

Don't fit Drakes like a noob then right?

This war should be interesting, hoping to get alot more.

Can you start a blot with all of your tasty tear filled stories? They make for fantastic reading material at work and give me a pretty good laugh with every post. Keep up the good work!

Since I'm posting in this thread, Here's a story.

So this past weekend, I rediscovered a wormhole belonging to a Corp thar, the first go round, refused to come out and play. This being wormhole space, I told them that we'd be back, and in greater numbers. Huh, does that make us sand people? Anyways, we set up camp and began a cozy campfire using their pos modules for kindling, and then using their pos for the logs. Apparently, they decided a retreat was the best idea. So they tried that. Unfortunately, Hole control is kind of what we do. A few minutes later and one of their pilots has a one way ticket to high sec.

It was right around then that they decided they didn't want to play in wormholes any more. They promptly started pulling modules down, stuffed them into ships, and then blew their own ships up. To make matters worse, they then pulled everything out of the Corp hangars arrays into jetcans and let them expire. I might have felt bad if it was high sec, but hey, its the risk you take in hole space. We finished pulling down the towers while I Dj'd it up, told them "No hard feelings, but I said I'd be back", and then we promptly packed up and left. We're responsible, and left no trace behind.

...Minus their angry cries through space, mind you.

This is a long story.

TL:DR version - Started an AWOX character. Killed a guy who got really angry. He sends lots of hate mail. Made an alt corp and war dec him. He gets more angry and sends mails to anyone he thinks is connected to me. He sends me a mail with the list of my corpmates. Kill him and his corp mates repeatedly. He gets more angry but drops corp.

So I jumped into the "green on green" killing game this past weekend. First corp that took me in lost a golem and everyone online from the corp at the time logged off to avoid me. Several hours later two different corp members logged on, and invited me to mission with them. You see, a warning mail never went out and my character hadn't been kicked from the corp. CNR and Megathron proceed to die. The next hour was spent with those two trying to figure out how Tah'ris (who I had on grid) killed them without going red. Soon after the CEO logs on and kicks that character from corp.

Not one to waste time, I start looking around and applying to other corporations. I get into one within 20 minutes and make my way to their missioning system. Raven and drake pilot invite me to go missioning. Soon after we land, both are in pieces and the "experienced" raven pilot let my awoxing BS grab his pod.

Now, the raven wasn't all that expensive except for some Cal Navy Cruise Launchers. The pilot and CEO however got EXTREMELY angry. He spent the first 30 minutes explaining how my characters was now "stuck" because he gave it roles (which was in fact only a title). He professed how it was such a mistake and how I was going to lose all my ships...yadda yadda yadda. Also, racist comments and declarations of my newb status were rampant. After a while his ranting slows down. I get bored, dock up, and drop corp because again, he'd only given me a title and not actual roles.

Now as I'm leaving, I'm also recruiting for my main corporation in recruitment. This guy starts spamming the channel with a KM and an offer for "generous amounts of isk" for both mine and my alts corpses. I'm sensing some serious butthurt here so I go ahead and make an alt corp not in my main alliance and put in a war vote. The next day, while I'm waiting to put in the actual dec, he's STILL spamming for my eventual death via generous isk. I put in the war dec and he gets even angrier.

My alt gets conv'd and "you've made a grave mistake" messages get shared. He proceeds to block me and all of my characters, but continues to send me mails with only a subject of "WHAT NOW STUPID F***?" and similar. I receive one mail with all the members of my main corporation in it, which was useful because I'd forgotten who they were. Recognizing that so much anger comes with a heavy degree of stupid, I'm just getting antsy for the war to begin. I mean, I've never seen someone rage this hard.

The next morning he starts modifying his contact info for all my corp mates and myself to Terrible (unblocking me in the process) and sending notifications. I, naturally, respond by setting his standing to Excellent and send him a notification with a <3. I have a non-affiliated person do the same thing, and he gets convo'd.

http://pastebin.com/BRALs1HL

I log off for work.

I come back right as the war goes live. I immediately switch Tah'ris over and go hunting.

http://eve-kill.net/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=12803948

Mr. Extremely mad was missioning in his lovely, best ship in the game, Rokh. He also got pod expressed...but apparently woke up in the same system. Now, I figure he's done for the day so I start leaving towards a locator agent for other WTs. I get not 3 jumps away when I run into another WT of considerable age and skill and dock up to assess if I'm engaging.

Now, he lands on the station in a jag and more of Mr. Extremely Mad's corp show up in a Drake, Caracal, and him in a Merlin. After switching to a scram, I undock and force the jag to dock at 50% armor before he can even react. (No repair in this station). I pop the merlin and pod, caracal flees, and the drake starts to engage. Drake dies and everyone suddenly leaves system (jag slipped out while I was engaging the drake).

http://eve-kill.net/?a=kill_related&kll_id=12804253
The merlin fit is amazing. I may need to try something similar.

I start heading to my locater again and get a couple jumps away when the jag returns in a sleip. Now I'm in a cane and I know this pilot flies bling ships and he admits to having a crystal set in, so I'm choosing to not lose my cane to a sleip and dock up. Drake pilot comes back in a harbi, and caracal pilot comes back. After 20 minutes of waiting, Sleip gets bored and logs. I immediately undocked and engaged the harbi and pop him while the caracal is shooting me from 48km away. I burn to the caracal and I'm surprised he actually lets me get a point on him. I proceed to pop and pod him as well.

http://eve-kill.net/?a=kill_related&kll_id=12804713

After docking, repairing, and chatting with some folks I once again start to get moving...when the Drake/Harbi pilot shows up in local again, but this time in a legion! Except...instead of coming to me, he runs to the Uedama pipe. I've already killed this guy twice so I didn't even hesitate to chase him. He stopped in Uedama and held cloak, hoping I would overshoot him. Turns out I was paying attention and his choice was incorrect. Then, instead of burning to the gate, he burns away from it. I MWD like a mofo and get the web on him. Once again, this pilot pops.

Suffice to say, this was a good run.

Even a blind pig finds a truffle, now and then. I like the odds. I have come into your system literally hundreds of times and you have "caught" me once. Big ****ing deal! You are a big fat bag of fail and you will always be a pompous ass!

get a real life!

It took him about 4 stealth bomber losses to realize that i wasn't just randomly finding him, and he petitioned me every time he died.
CCP recently banned his account for making over 200 petitions.

Socratic, perchance?

You know, that ******* guy...(enjoy those fine Swedish Black-metal bass-drums! One of the few EVE vids that has good music, my God!)

E: But seriously now, Kane, where/how the Hell do you find these people? Ninja-salvaging seems quite dry nowadaysStraight

After losing many faction BS, he downgraded to faction cruisers, and then ultimately stealth bombers.

But even flying a cloaky frigate, he was still quite easy to catch, as anytime he appeared in local i knew he was going to find the 1 BS that spawns. So i waited cloaked in a rapier next to said BS until he attempted to kill it. Needless to say, he wasn't happy.

Classic.. Really great stuff...

The IQ stuff, the Faction Losses (methinks plex purchases? Is there any other way he is able to afford this stuff in eve?) the brilliance of the instant sec hit.

Will remember for the off chance I meet another like him in time...

With all that has been going on I was mostly busy with EVE admin so to speak these past 2 days.

Last night I am sitting in station when I receive a mail from a guy where somebody is using my Good Name to threaten people with.

Long story short, player flipped can, Victim fires at him with a Rokh, Victim looses Rokh. Mails of War Dec and death ensues.

Here are the mails, Names removed of course.

I am sending this in regards to one of your members. I am acting curteously before wardeccing you outright.

I was flying in a rokh, helping to teach some beginner miners how to do a fleet op, when one of your men, *********** decided to can tip me. I have billions, so it's no big loss, but I did not want the people I was training to see this man go away unpunished. I was going ot put a 100m bounty on his head, but unfortunately he has too high of a security status.

So I camped outside of the station in my CNR, thinking I'd just kill him myself to teach him a lesson. I offered to let him go if he simply paid me back - but he refused.

He camped up and refused to show his head so I am left with no alternative. Unless he is punished by you guys for this transaction, I will be forced to wardec you all. My and my compatriot have strategic cruisers, and if all else fails, I'm in good contact with Cannibal Kane (just look up his bounty status, he flies a loki, as well). We will keep up the war until either he leaves the corp, or you message me that he has been punished.

He is a new player and needs to learn of consequences. I hope you do not make me wardec you - I'll give you 48 hours to respond.

Thank you.

Now if there is one thing that irks in EVE as well as real life if when people throw around names to deal with issues or make threats. I would not mind if I was asked first but this just fucks me off.

So I decide to deal with this the only way I think will benefit me.

I convo the person throwing around my name since I really do not know this person. Only afterwards when I saw the corp name did I realize who they were.

I ask him why is my name being used to threaten people. He ask me to help him attack them and how much do I want. knowing that he said they have billions I say you make an offer and I will go yay or nay. I have got other things to do than sit between people squabbling of a can worth of 770k isk.

He counters I will give you 2 billion isk.

My wallet flashes with 2 billion isk 3 hours later, easiest 2 billion isk I made. Out f the kind ness of my heart I gave the person who notified me of this person transgression 500mil for his trrouble since he earned to get something for this as well. I am firm but fair.

I hope the 2 Billion isk teaches him a lesson not to use peoples name in Vain, especially when you did not ask.

I will however offer him to pay me an extra 1 billion isk to actually go after these guys.
