This is the kind of Alliance you don't join. Members allowing others to die while in the same system and around.

What kind of alliance lets your corp/alliance mates die without lifting a finger to help. They had more than enough time to form and bring the heat since it takes a good goddamn long time to take down a Freighter on your own. I was constantly thinking OMG OMG OMG.... im going to get dropped on and killed. Nothing.. not even a **** YOU.

just over 200 hundred war targets staying offline this week.

So I decided to visit some of my fav systems again in LoneTrek.

Once again I am in my Thorax with my Goal of seeing what I can and cannot pop with it.

Sitting at the undock watching the Traffic I see a harbinger undock he warps off into a mission. I immediatly start my goating of this 2008 character to see if I get a bite.

He asks me what im in so I mention that I am in a cruiser called the Thorax to which he start laughing at, saying well.. he guesses some people fly those ships since they are pretty useless, he gave them a skip.

Did not take long for to come back and undock and pop a can, telling me in local to take it. I take the can and he bolts away in a strait line.

Red boxed he starts firing... gah I think that ship bloody hurts. I close range fast and start eating through his ship with overheated guns. He goes down like a bah of shyte, and pops.

I do the customary gf o/ to which he responds no it was not. I am just a kid who has nothing better to do than harass people. and then a few minutes later, I am rich, that loss does not affect me at all.

Yeah the odd thing is... he had a plastic wrap which could only mean he needed to complete a courier run. I engaged him first at the undock and he docked up. then i warped to the perimeter gate not jumping since i was talking to somebody and here comes the freighter jumping through. I had to do a double take of wait what?

He must have really needed to complete that courier.

Thread should be renamed to The Kane Story Thread. I'm sure there's more people with cool stories out there, but at the moment you're king of the hill. Congrats on all the good kills and as a fellow South African, thank you for representing.

Yeah I wish more people would post. These kind of things only serve to get people more into the game, that there is more to grinding, missioning, and mining.

But most South Africans are psycho anyway right? SO it might be that, that contributes to this. Every time somebody irks me at the office, I tell them because of you.. somebody in EVE online is going to have a bad day.

DODIXIE - Dateline 21:25 - March 12th

Today BNANA has declared WAR!

*Friend* and *Me*. were hanging out in Dodixie watching freighters undock from station and applying to corps they belonged to to see if anyone would let them in. Most corps declined or said there was a 10 day wait period, but one corp, *Target Corp* accepted *Me* Immediately!

For the next 24 minutes, I (Eve-Radio DJ) got to listen and laugh over skype as *Friend* kept tabs on an Obelisk pilot named *Target* and *Me* frantically made a mad rush for it through several gates from Dodixie in a gank fit Machariel, until he finally caught it in Gyng.

As soon as the freighter was pointed, my hand that was hovering over the "Declare War" button, clicked, and hilarity ensued through confused corp chatter, as people were asking if *Me* was provoked, what the hell is up with the wardec, and "Quick! Sally Forth to save the freighter!"

The Freighter was summarily destroyerd, and much to our dismay was only filled to the brim with tritanium, however the first shot has been fired in anger, and we will start this wardec up nearly 1 Billion ISK in damages.

BNANA and PHAIL remind you that we are in dire need of meat shields and combat ready pilots. *Target Corp and Alliance Name* have promised us they are accomplished PVPers, and will soon come to make our anuses bleed. Given their recruitment security, we're not too worried, but you never know!

Today I am sad.

Was making coffee when a War Target jumped through the gate I was on with a Rattlesnake, promptly warping off and docked.

I hang my head in shame.

However, I received this GEM....

It's a mail I got from a corp I was asked to go after. After that I think i will keep the war live indefinitely.
I removed the corps name from the list and the CEO name.

We like Eve, all aspects of it. We make our ISK with PvE, but PvP is a nice part of Eve. Well we like it organized, otherwise we couldn’t make our ISK the way we do. So if you like to agree some Rules of Engagement (RoE) we are happy to be at war with you!

Our RoE:
- we ask corporations or get invited to make war, it is supposed to be fun. CEO’s of each corporation contact eachother to agree terms
- No podding - we both have expensive implants we don’t want to loose over a silly argument. Come on, you really need that? Right......
- PvP timeframes - we chase eachother at agreed days and timewindows. That way our 1 bln freighters can be out of harms way.

Currently, these rules of engagement can be confirmed to CEO, CEO of the corporation

Strike 1
You declared war without asking us first? Well that happens to the best ;-) It’s just strike 1.

No damage done. Our CEO will contact you to see if above RoE can be agreed. If so then the strike is lifted and you have a clean sheet. We are more than happy to fight you then!

Strike 2
You didn’t agree to our Rules of Engagement before the war starts? Not funny. That’s your second strike.

Bellum
So we are at war, conditions agreed hopefully. It’s gonna be fun.

If agreements were not made read the following section carefully or you might regret you didn’t forever,,,,,,,,Our corp is organizing a hunt for you. If we find you, we will shoot you but not POD you. If you shoot back at us though we will POD you and you get your 3rd strike. GAME OVER.

Strike 3
You decided to fight us? Bad move. You earned your third strike.

I was chasing War Target so I needed to head to my Locator. I have a warping for the front of the station and I see a can at the undock. I take the can since I like to keep space clean and docked.

Ran my locator and undock, stopping my ship while I sit outside checking on evewho who all my war targets are. Suddenly my laptop flashes like crazy indicated that somebody has targeted me and agressed me. So I alt tab and here is a lone hurricane shooting at me.

Checking the chars age I see he is barely one month, I gather he has never seen a legion before and does not know what it can do. I lock back, web and all the goodies and release the HAM's of FURY. The Cane pops and he docks.

I go back to checking evewho... once again my laptop flashes alerting me that I am being aggressed. I alt tab again and here is the same guy attacking my with a DareDevil. My first reaction is, "is he ******* serious" since HAM's work surprisingly well against frigates as well. So I lock and pop him again.

At least now I have a daredevil kill which makes me happy since I am that much closer to killing 1 of each type of ship under sub caps.

Some More Thorax action.

Decided to take a tour using directional to check belts for cans. Found one warp in promptly transfer all the goodies across.

The two corp locals sitting there warps away and come back in a stabber and a thrasher. Both red boxes me and the fight is on. The thrasher is fitted with tracking disruptor, my god never knew how something like that can screw up your fighting ability.

I am barely hitting the thrasher, lucky the Hammerhead II drones makes short work of him allowing me to focus on the stabber. With the no more disrupts the stabber falls like a brick and pops.

only after when i checked the fits did I realise why it popped so fast. What is it with people that head into combat with incomplete ships?

So of I go in search of more fun. I see a hulk mining so I flip and he warps, a minute I see a cane on directional. Now 2007 char, I am thinking im about to get my ass handed to me. He lock and engages. He also goes down like a brick. Now for the love of god, if your ftting a shield cane are they not supposed to sit at 20km + in orbit shooting the hell out of me? Just asking.

gf o/ were had, he expected he would take me down quickly for my theft.

And of I go again.

Found a rifter popping corp can in a belt. 3 members in system all young, he sees me approach and and takes his can back... so I pop 3 cans calling each of them colorfull names since all three are now in the same belt. A rifter, caracal and a Cane. The rifter takes me can so i only put one gun on him. He tells his friends in local "hah im tanking his damage" so the Cane takes my can since now they think they can kill me easily. The Caracal pilot being a ****** decide to shoot at me without agression and get pops by concord.

The minute the Cane takes my can I have him pointed, all guns and drones on the rifter and he pops in 2 shots. Cane pops in 3 or 4 shots.
