Ingame reference to Templar One (Spoilers)

Here follows a spoiler, don't read if you haven't finished Templar One.

I'm wondering, has anyone attempted to locate the hidden outposts referenced to be 'just outside of Caldari space' on page 461 of Templar One?
Also, is there any roleplay reason for a capsuleer to be looking for it there, or to recognise what they are?
