EVE constantly disconnects when neighbor playing Dota

Hi.

Me and other guy are connected via LAN and use same ADSL internet connection.
But my EVE client constantly disconnects when my neighbor starts playing Dota (or dota2 I guess).
Odd that PingPlotter does not show 100% loss red spikes in the moments my EVE losses connection, cause at first I was blaming my ISP on re-prioritizing packets or smth.

Anyway, I control the router (DIR-300) to which myself and my neighbor are connected, router than connects to internet via adsl modem I can also try to reconfigure local network (put a laptop between modem and router and set some server soft there). The thing I can not do is unplug my neighbor Sad.

So please share an advice on what I can do to help my EVE!
