I'm with you on this, I miss it already *sniff*

WoW holds your hand until end game, and gives you a cookie whether you win or lose. EVE not only takes your cookie, but laughs at you for bringing one in the first place...

I have to say the renaming thing seems really pointless.

There is a golden rule in software development, don't touch stuff that isn't broken because you never know how a small change can have larger effects in places where you least expect them. I don't thing the change will break anything but it causes a lot of unnecessary work. For example any place that was an eve reference resource now needs to be updated. Busy work with no benefit.

Also it took someone in CCP time to come up with new names and change them. CCP, are you really so ahead on your various commitments that you can waste even a minute "fixing" something that everyone agrees wasn't broken?

I really dislike the name change. If it wasn't for the name changes it would have been imo a great update.

I'm not quite sure what they were even trying to achive. Impatient people don't play eve. A few name changes isn't going to make a difference in a game where some skills take months.

I remember when I was a newbie and I bought Cold-gas Arcjet Thrusters because THEY WERE THE BEST. Cost me a million ISK, and I never forgot that Cold-gas Arcjet Thrusters were the best.

I like the names changes. I can now search for "10mn" and actually see all the cruiser-class prop mods, without having to remember the friggen names of the meta modules.

Bravo CCP for streamlining. \o/

You could use that logic to argue against pretty much any change ever; it entirely depends on your definition of "broken".

Bring back Y-T8, I don't really care about the other mods but this one has a special place in my pants.

NEVER FORGET

BRING BACK THE OLD MEGA PULSE LASER SOUND!

Remember when Mega Pulse Lasers actually sounded brutal? Like it was actually able to rip apart it's victim? The replacement sound is way too weak, and because of that I no longer enjoy flying Amarr battleships.
