Patch won't download

All i'm getting when I try downloading the patch is "The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.". When I scoop it to the download manager, it sits at 0% reporting a server error. This is in Firefox, but Chromium can't retrieve it either.
Is the download server clobbered to death, or is there an issue on my end somewhere? I wasn't able to get the main installer from the website without taking my laptop somewhere else either.
Just because I have a workaround doesn't mean it's not still worrisome..
Edit: Oh, I also can't access the links in my email regarding petitions.
