Extremely annoying neocom's chat button

Just wish to say the new patch is great, the new neocom is fantastic!

there just one thing I wish I could fix or get around: the chat button keep on flashing on my neocom.
I cannot remove the chat button from the neocom like every other button, I need my chat WINDOWs flashing, not the neocom button. I need other buttons on my neocom flashing, not the chat button....

is there anyway to remove the chat button from neocom or just make it stop flashing? (without make chat windows stop flashing/without making other buttons such as wallet/mail stop flashing)

it is very distracting

A workaround, as described on the noobcorp channel my new alt is in:

Menarim > Menarim > For those who want to remove the chat icon, here's what I figured out: drag the icon to the bottom, expand so that the icon "autohides, if not enough add stuff so that it does Then go into the new fold of hidden items, r-click icon, remove

It's clumsy, but it works.

Would it be possible to make it not only stop flashing, but actually optional? Once you're in the channels you need open, you're not going to need to keep opening the chat window, so it seems a bit silly to have a button for it permanently displayed on the neocom.
