Improved readability of the skill queue finishing time text in the Training Queue window. It will now read "Completes on YYYY.DD.MM at HH:MM

How does this improve readability? Either stick to the ISO (2012-01-24) or be more verbose. (24th Jan 2012) don't come up with your own weird system.

Pleeeeease CCP, if you think you'll finish the patching at 13:00, tell us it'll be ready at 15:00. Everyone will be happy, if the server goes online at 14:00 ;)))

Actually, CCP is using Time Dilation for this patch release. According to their in-house clocks, they are still on schedule... lol.

any news on the still not working t2 warp disruption field generator? for those of you who dont fly a heavy interdictor it has a point range of 36km but still only scrams targets up to 30km same as the t1 version! wasted 22 days of training! pettitioned it and bug reported it got a message back to say "yeah your right it doesnt work" thought it would be fixed in todays patch but can see no mention of it in the notes.

I'm almost hoping for one of the old school 4 day downtimes, increased in 30 minute intervals over that time frame.

Best downtimes ever, by the end you were shaking from withdrawal, and crapping yourself over all the time based processes getting screwed by the extended downtime.

Last time it was that long, my skill in training ran out after only 3 days :(

dear ccp, u have successfully cause my computer to crashed 4 times it a row!Sad

You're an idiot. Nothing ccp makes can damage your computer; if you built your pc, then that explains why it crashed but, based on how you define your pc problem as a "crash", you didnt build your pc, i hope. I feel bad for that pc if you did. It probably has no thermal paste, no adequate unidirection air flow, nothing.

As for ccp, based on your lies of when you wil have the server back up, it seems you contracted this guy to build your servers.

Im sick of seeing "will be completed at 12:00 UTC" and at 13:30 utc its still not up. Im sick of seeing notes in the patch notes that things will be added and they get missed or not added.

No, i am not talking about the "last minute" things you added or decided not to add. Im talking about patches you added and never changed the release notes to reflect what was actualy added. Like the crucible 1.0 patch "all references to 'core defence' have now been updated for correct spelling" Yet, it still says defence in every single relevant module, 5 patches later.

All Explosive missiles will now have the name 'Nova'.

/me sends a thesaurus to iceland. A kinetic trauma I get when i drive too fast with bicycle against garage door. a psychological when i sometimes read the patch notes :P . Nova comes from stella nova and describes a nuclear fusion process, ok the explosion might be an result so that is acceptable a bit, but still the word 'new missile' (nova=new) comes to mind lol.

When I think of Nova, I definitely think of an EXPLOSion, not 'New'. But then I am not of Spanish origin.

They should just start writing "Downtime will be extended on Tuesday, January 24th, 2012, from 11:00 to 'only god knows when' UTC for the deployment of EVE online: Crucible 1.1. For more information, please refer to bible."

but that would be madness...

no company could possibly get away with something like that!

oh wait...

Commanders!

The long-awaited move for the World of Tanks North American cluster has arrived. The NA cluster will be down for maintenance beginning at 12AM PST (8:00 UTC) on January 24, 2012 and is expected to return at 8AM PST (16:00 UTC) on January 24, 2012. The downtime will take place so that we can migrate the NA cluster to a new data center.

Please note that maintenance of this nature may extend the downtime. 8AM PST (16:00 UTC) is the earliest that we expect the cluster to be playable.

Players with Premium account status active as of the downtime will receive a 24-hour compensation for the downtime.

(emphasis mine)

(granted, the "from 12am to 8am on the same day" bit is a little weird^^ but ccp doesn't have to copy everything P)

How about allow pos structures to be build on pos assembly array? Little funny that we can assemble Titans (Large enough to cause tidal effects on planets oceans...) in pos but not large pos tower that only takes 8000 m3 of space once completed...
Generals science & industry rewamp? How about construction ship? Large as orca, slow as freighter and cant move when building, slow assembly lines as well..

HELL YES. Get rid of this time wasting on frivolous crap. If you're just occupying people who are under your employ, redirect them or drop the axe.
