As already suggested, instead of being a tool and rolling up in a pod that no-one will care about, bring a bunch of friends and see what happens. I think you will be pleasantly surprised how quickly 'empty' systems fill up all of a sudden. Blink

I would like to see the OP take down that TCU in his pics, otherwise, what is there to defend?

So when I came home to my castle yesterday I found a note. It said:

"Hey castle dude you suck ass, I came to your castle this morning and there was no one to defend it. I took a picture of your flag waving above your castle and no one could stop me, GOD you are so bad you shouldn't even own this castle.

Obviously this person did some real damage to my castle and I should return immediately to deal with this immense threat

I used to kill every neut pod I saw in null, then I took an arrow to the knee.

Pods in null aren't worth the five seconds it takes to lock and F1. Come back in a Rifter, you'll at least get a second glance.

EDIT: It's worth noting for further hilarity that in both screenshots, OP is the only one in local.

Yeah, people ignore solo ships a lot. Usually someone will scan them down, and fail (because it is cloaked) and that's that.

Sure, you could log in after 1-3 hours and then hotdrop a bunch of titans right into your faces. But that would be ~good fights~ and soon enough you'd get a welcoming party. Or you could be like a certain Vagabond who came around and tried to gank a domi twice and got chased off. Also attacked a ratting fleet (yes, fleets of newbies in drakes) and also ran off.

But please, do hotdrop a carrier in if you want attention. I need to get on some carrier killmails.

I don't really see why OP links this issue to GSF - it's the same pretty much everywhere.

In sov space the anom nerf has centralized PvE in very few systems (which were already good pre-Dominion).

In NPC 0.0 (where I currently live) things are a little more spread out but even then only a handful of systems in the whole region (sadly no NPC home region) have decent truesec and/or many belts, maybe 15% of all systems are worth ratting in. The majority of people I play with make their money on high-sec alts.

After downtime people do some exploration but all good sites have been done long before euro prime.

Mining is risky & boring but if it's done, then it is limited again to very few systems that actually have the best ores (grav sites are nice but cumbersome) and that are located in an area which can be secured reasonably.

Mission agents are (again!) concentrated in only a handful of systems (about 2 on average?) per region.

I don't really see what you actually expect people to do in all the worthless space?

How much time are they supposed to spend farming a system with 2 belts and no outpost that is directly bordering a conflict area? (Why didn't you make a screenshot next door, in RG9?)

Why are they supposed to camp there for hours waiting for some lonely pod passing through?
And how did you threaten their space in a way that should have elicited some sort of response?



You experienced that getting into 0.0 is not too hard, that moving around in 0.0 is really easy and that you could probably gank local travellers and/or ninja rat to your heart's content without any substantial reaction.

But somehow you still try to turn this into a whine thread about 0.0 alliances?

You yourself did just prove that they can't prevent you from using "their" space, that they can't and don't lock you out ... Roll
