hi, I shouldn't be punished in a sandbox just because I don't immediately cater to YOUR playstyle.

Well if you want to play with me in my corner of the sandbox, we will agree on a set of rules. Otherwise sod off and go play by yourself in the other corner. Again. What, it's not my corner of the sand box? OK, take it from me. No one wants to play with you anyway because you smell like poo.

Then stop. Quit trying to join corps full of snobs with sticks up their arses and go make a name for yourself in a less prestigious corp. There is PVP everywhere in null. There is no such thing as a "non" pvp corp there - at least not for long. Any corp that claims to be so uber-leet that they don't need a new body in the fleet is probably full of some idiot's ego and nothing more. You will not learn anything there except to suck up to said ego. Join a mediocre corp in a big alliance and participate. There will be more CTAs than you can handle and more roams than you can handle.

The problem seems to be you want to be told what to do. Then when they tell you to f-off you don't like it. Stop trying to be what you think others want you to be.

where you get these ideas from?

I am clear that applying for less prestegious corps was my intention and that I did not mind that situation you describing. All my point was that caldari hating is widespread in null obviously and this is why I go into losec instead.

Drake's are great PVP boats.. If the people you're applying for aren't willing to let you fly a well fit drake in a pvp fleet they are probably stupid, or you're talking to people who primarily fly armor ships.

also as the above guys said.. falcon, eagle, tengu .. the list goes on.. many caldari ships are just fine for pvp

OP, if you're dead set against crosstraining, you'll have a rough time of it. Suck it up, train Basi, Scimi, and Guardian, and nobody will complain about your training schedule again.

Logi 5 means you're always welcome in any fleet.

Tons of nullsec corps will recruit you . You just need to keep knocking on doors and don't touch on the carebear history.

And sorry to sound so cynical, but most good nullsec corps aren't going to spend time holding your hands. I don't care what recruiters say. I used to be a recruiter so trust me, I know all the sales pitches. People are pretty harsh and critical of noobs on comms and you better have one real thick skin. There are some 'starter' nullsec corps who make it a mission to train bears with the expectation that you'll eventually leave and go elsewhere. OUCH is a nullsec training corp in NPC space.

And may I also take the time to debunk what your beliefs are of nullsec pvp? Unless you get real lucky, do your due diligence, and show tremendous motivation to learn you're not going to learn alot of sound pvp fundamentals in nullsec warfare. And quite frankly, anyone with tremendous motivation to learn can do it on their own without having to rely on a corp of any kind.

In FW, lowsec piracy, and WH pvp, you are exposed to small gang on a daily basis. In FW and lowsec piracy, there are T1 cheap thrill roams, T2 gangs, and occasional hotdrops. In WH pvp, it's more T2 gangs.

Not to mention, in small gangs, you are easily able to weed out the weak links because teamwork is so much more vital. In doing so, everyone is held more accountable for their actions and consequently, their mistakes.

In nullsec pvp, it's blob warfare. Point, click, and shoot. Rinse, wash, and repeat. When a CTA is declared, no one is going to take time to teach you how to fight. No one.

Sorry to rain on anyone's parade. Just had a conversation with a corpmate who was dreaming of nullsec pvp again. I challenged every single of his beliefs until he actually couldn't figure out why he wanted nullsec pvp. He was just being a lemming and buying into the hype without really thinking critically of the issue at hand. But such is the case with most people.

Funny thing is, he came to me saying he knows pvp because he was in nullsec before. But yet, he kept asking questions on ship fittings, didn't understand how to dscan (until I taught him otherwise), couldn't differentiate b/w buffer and active tanks.

High Five. Yeah! C'est La Eve .

May I also suggest that you find a corp that speaks your primary language - not being racist here but alot of PvP means responding quickly and that can be achieved easier in your primary. Unless you want to improve your English of course...

I also suggest looking at Dotlan to find said corps and Alliance info... I found your Vera Cruz alliance with it ...Vera Cruz

Good luck on your search

I am aware of my own ignorance and have checked my emotional quotient - thanks for asking

What about Gallente? Both Cal and Gal can use missiles, drones and hybrids, although Cal favor shield tank and Gal armor..
