After recovering from editing up the minutes, I made a couple of posts to my blog.

The Cold Equations of the CSM -- some musings on election strategy for non nullsec-bloc candidates.

Jester's Schmeck -- answers to Jester's Things CSM thinks questions.

Hope you find them interesting.

That means no goons, they are bad posters by definition.

Well Trebor, I won't be in game to vote for you again. I agree with you on your voting strategy blog, but then that's just another reason to not get involved.

first, I have flown in null and low sec so you can get that out of your systen now. Also, I have been a solo pilot and in an Alliance, bee invloved wioth industry, exploration, mining ect. Easier to say I haven't done Wormhole space or Faction Warfare since that's a shorter list. Yes, I have done PvP and that made mining look awesome. My god, null sec sucks so bad. It the players that make it bad though.

I find the game to be in the worst shape I hae ever seen it in in the 4 years I've been playing. Sorry Trebor, but the CSM and CCP both seem to share a common lack of experience in the game as a whole but not unwilling to throw wrenches in the system, information be damned. The player base is the absolute worst I have ever seen. It makes XBox look good.

The sandbox is breaking due to the PvP/null only focus of game play. The players and CCP share in the blame. Just adding sand to the sandbox is not managing the sandbox. The whole thing must be maintained or all you have is a pile of sand full of grass and twigs in the yard.

I've read posts where people want to remove industry and mining all together. Faction Warfare is essentially dead and will probably be morphed into just another null sec space. At the current pace, they may get their wish, but they no longer have a sandbox. They have World of Spaceships with 15 minute PvP matches. CCP would get to sell their gold ammo and gold ships though and they may also like that.

Anyway, no you can't have my stuff. All of my accounts will take it ALL to the grave. Big smile The game just isn't fun anymore with it's "PVP or nothing" attitude. I choose nothing then.

As a last service to the game, you can maximize the ISK sink effect by selling as much of your assets as you can before going offline.

I'll agree that the stuff in null that REALLY needs to be fixed hasn't ben adressed, but the only work being done these days directly benefits null (specificaly the large alliances) and null PvP. The rest of the game has gone on being either ignored or nerfed to the advantage of null again.

I am going to assume that your game play style has benefited from these changes. Most players don't benefit and in many ways their game suffers at the expense of another group. The best way i can describe that is a car with a flat tire. the flat would be null sec since it really does need work. Currently it seems that instead of fixing the flat, CCP and CSM have agreed that if the other 3 tires wer flat, then they would all be the same. Therefore, we can now take a pleasant drive on our equallity flat tires. the reality is that you won't go very far at all.

We really don't need more structure grinds and shiny new things. Shiny is fun but not a fix. I'm glad the repairs to game mechanics have started but they're years overdue and have had tons of posts about them for years go ignored, only to have them suddenly 'poof' fixed.

The issues that really need work clearly won't be quick fixes. POS management, NPC AI and sov mechanics are the most important things that come to my mind, even though I don't use the bulk of that. I'm concerned that CCP has seen some short term gains from fixing small items and lots of shiny that they may simply continue the items that are hard work. From their point of view, can you really see any reason to even start all that?

CCP releases Tyrannis and Incursion, two expansions that have nothing to do with 0.0 and do nothing but add lots of risk-free income sources for highsec carebears. Result: EVE nearly dies, players quit in droves.

The last sov nullsec expansion was in 2009 and the last popular expansion involved adding more 0.0 security systems in the form of wormholes.

Incarna was hilmar focused, incursions hi sec focus, one was wormhole focus, then think dominion was null sec focus. All I know sadly.
