[Suggestion/Fix] use "Camera Center" settings for window positioning

I have a dual monitor setup (and I guess a lot of others too) and it's really annoying to have your login text fields, game window and whatnot appear at the center of the two screens, right between the two monitors across the bar.

Please either use camara center settings or add another option to reconfigurate the positioning of these things.

edit: this also applies to damage notifications

sincerely,

made a little illustration of the problem, to justify a push:

I think the only way they could do that for the login screen, is to have it appear so many pixels from the left; but that would be entirely dependent on resolution, so they would have to have settings for all screen resolutions.

The message box could be centered over camera in-game however, as could the escape menu.

I don't see why CCP shouldn't be able use camera offset (+/- N pixels or X% of your resolution from the center) to move login screen menu buttons and login fields by the same amount

Camera offset might work in game, depending on how the UI ties in with the Camera itself; but I don't think that has any realistic application on the login screen as it is seperate from the game itself. The login screen is entirely based on resolution as far as I know, but I'm not 100% certain.

The UI itself doesn't give any indication that it is tied to the camera either, aside from mousevers and the like. I think that would prove to be limited functionality at best, and is one of the primary reasons we have a UI Scaling option to increase the resoltion of out UI to make it easier to read and use on high res displays.

Offset could be tied into that with limited functionality I would think; specifically regarding the Esc menu and pop-up messages. I don't think that would take much effort.

For the login screen, I think maybe a return on resolution/aspect ratio might be the best method to offset based on aspect ratio if that is a possible. Multiple displays will use different combined effective aspect ratios, resulting in much wider resolutions; unlike a single high resolution display. I'm not sure if any multi-display set-up uses non-standard aspect ratios though; as opposed to just increasing resolution across same aspect ratio screens.

This is why I suggested just moving the login and UI based on resolution.

just remembered that an out of game login is worked on. Hope to remember that correctly. So this wouldn't matter anyway once this change is completed. The bigger problem lies ingame anyway. Simply can't read quick changing damage notifications when they are split on two screens, aswell as the options window not being movable.

edit: plus the login screen is totally tied to the game itself. It's even running the graphics engine, so I can't imagine that it wouldn't be able to access the settings variables >.<
