Hulkageddon!
I'm stopping my Acount in Protest to Hulkageddon!

in the time Hulkageddon is active i make no isk on this acount so CCP will not make any money as long hulkageddon is active.

I will close my acount in one month in protest!

What do you even need isk for anyway? You could just sit in station and spin your ship to watch a number go up aimlessly, that number doesn't have to be in your wallet.

If you really want to protest then you will have to unsub for 2 month, not just one.
Quitting just before Hulkageddon and then getting filthy rich afterwards by selling stuff to all the people that lost their ships during the event is just cherry-picking, greedy and spineless.

I'd like to apologize for the poor quality of the post above and sincerely hope you didn't waste your time reading it. Yes, I do feel bad about it.

Hulkageddon wins already before it starts.

During HG, why don't you do some level 1 missions instead. You earn isk and get nice explosions.

Hulkageddon is just natural selection in action. It prunes out the pathetic elements of the eve playerbase, only leaving those over the age of 14. Everyone who matters wins when a Hulkageddon comes around.

You know what - it's a crying shame when those little miners who sit out on the belt all day, dont have the guts to get involved in the game. Hulkaddeon is great!!! Not only does it give the Carebears a chance to try out new fits (expensive but come on guys you can afford it!!!) and also to try out some of those long lost tactical skills!!

Come on guys you make a shed load out of mining, so stop yer whining!! I've only lost one Hulk so far - and it taught me loads - especially about my skills and fit. Once I get podded I can then go out on the hunt and pew pew them back!!

Its a flamin game !!! I spend time during the year mining so that I can get the isk to join in an loose a few ships (not high enough on the missions yet to benefit) - how else do you get better ?? Not join in ??

Success comes in Cans - not Cannots!!!! Pirate

I have to agree that I'm a little misty at putting my hulk away for the month, but I am excited to get out and do something new for a bit! haven't actually shot anything in quite a while that wasn't a big, ole' rock. Hell, start learning scanning, or get into trade, or just plain go blow something up... There is a whole universe out there!

oblig -- your stuff? I can have it?

Seriously though, one sub for one month isn't really going to make CCP stop hulkageddon (which is a perfectly valid player-run event).

One of the bitter points of a good bittervet is the realisation that all those SP don't really do much, and that the newbie is having much more fun with what little he has. - Tippia

Goonies win when a Hulkageddon comes around and are likley laughing at the paid pawns they use for their war effort in the process.

Miners are recognised as the minimum wage element of EvE. AS per the repeated posting, so claims of easy affordable loses is ridiculous.

Yet today's suicide ganker can claim to earn a plex in an afternoon from attacking soft targets.

However, their epeen wont allow them to look at the risk reward element aspect of this game as them being lazy cowards, especially with broken player policing systems and conflict mechanics they can simply use to avoid any form of retribution to their criminal actions.

As an alternative for those interested during Hulkageddon: Griefer Geddon

Word of warning however, Griefer Geddon may place you in a situation where your target ship may actually shoot back at you. As a result it is not intended as an activity for anyone who doesn't have a spine.
