My Agent standing when I decline an empire faction kill mission

"Look Mr./Mrs. Agent of the Gallente Federation, we're both mature adults here, right? I know you need to send capsuleers up against the Caldari or the Amarr for...something they did, but look, try to see things my way, ok? I need to travel through their space, you don't. You have a 9 - 5 Mon - Fri, weekends off job here at the station, no commute. I don't want to get shot at by their forces for killing some low life LT in the ass crack of space that no one cared about. So how about we just don't mess with my effective agent standing when I do decline a mission that requires me to kill a member of a so called "enemy empire faction". I'm a busy guy, I need to travel places like Jita. You know, Jita? Busy trade hub? And other places too.

So please, my dear old Agent whome I've done so much work for, don't mess with my agent standing when I decline a mission that requires a kill against the opposite faction. See things my way."

Exactly this just put an end to today's attempts to be friends with a certain corporation.
I think my Caldari agents are not that bitter about their "enemies".

Edit: It's not only the effective agent standing, the corp standing matters more to me. Just get rid of this.

I had this conversation with an agent once, he just looked up from under his hood at me, tossed me a book called 'Diplomacy' and mumbled the incantation "Artyefem".

Just don't decline 2 missions within a 4 hour span and you're good. And if you get a 2nd anti-faction mission like that before your timer on the first decline is up, just go to a different agent and chatter up with them, let this one simmer a bit on his choice of missions, then when the timer is up, decline it.

never had any problems whatsoever doing this.

When 3 agents in 2 systems enter their sulking state during the 4 hour window it does get annoying.

Fellow pilots above. I have diplomacy at lev 4 and I picked my corp HQ system because it has 4 security agents, a lev 2, 3 and 2 lev 4's. They all gave me empire faction kill missions. All in a row and yes, it does get annoying quick. I can't kill anymore Caldari and Amarr, I've had enough waiting for 4 hours. If you have too, say something (this is to anyone in general).

I hear that the agents's corporation will give a BPC to a ship that doesn't suck if you hit 10.0 with the said agent's corporation? Is this true? I think the empire kill thing needs a tweak.

Can't rebalance the effects then dont do the crime.

Mechanics are there to represent consequences to realistic choices in the game and the benefits of certain LP opportunities as a result.

Next you'll be saying don't remove security for nefarious activities cause I dont want to be shot at by Concord.

So you work IRL, same with countless others who can manage their gameplay effectively, who likley see it more as effective management to a small game challenge and/or planning what they do.

Seriously, working as intended and doesn't need the "special snowflake" request.

Then, Mister capsuleer, admit you have divided interests and your heart isn't really into helping the Gallente. You're just in it for the money.

Paradise is like where you are right now, only much, much better.

Well I am not in it for the ****** gallente LP so suppose its the money then.

Agents are embarrassed by me. Always say I let them down.

No, there is no special reward for getting +10 Corporation standing.

There are special Cosmos Agents that give a 2-run Faction Ship BPC for gaining high Faction standing.

If anything, CCP should increase standing hit to balance out "new" agent system where you can get only combat missions from them.

decline mission within 4h interval

* agent standing drops a lot
* corp standing drops some
* faction standings drop is negligible

get good enough faction standings to access the missions, make sure that agent and corp standings stay above -2 and you can pretty much decline as many missions as you want to.

the whole 4h-window mechanic is pretty pointless once you have decent faction standings and only serves to scare people who have never looked at their standings logs away from optimizing their income.

According to botters you can decline about half the mission pool (i.e. decline these missions every single time when they pop up) without running into trouble

Thankless job is thankless.
I would not want to moderate EvE forums even if they paid me 4k euros a month. Too much volume of pure ****.

I wish if you declined a certain mission there was some way to get away from those types for a little. Sucks when your agent just goes on a kill the opposing faction spree.

Kill the Amarr! "no thanks"
Kill the Amarr! "no.."
Kill the Amarr! "NO!"
Kill the Amarr!!!!! "I wish i could kill you!!!"

think the longest stretch I got was 4 back to back offers from my RSS agent to kill Amarr navy forces. Are you receiving? Pot and Kettle, In the Midst of Deadspace, Pot and Kettle again than finally he stopped.

I just got 3 in a row - next agent is 9 jumps from where I am and I can't be bothered to keep two bases

Which means I won't be playing tonight as mission running is what I enjoy doing at the moment :)

Night folks !

Both of you should just try different agents till you get the missions basket you desire.
Where my missioneers play, I have one agent that gives 1 faction mission every 50 and 2 systems away (same sec) there's one that gives 4 out of 10.

I'm willing to trade my current agent too. Just give me an Agent handing out Enemies Abound forever. I will pay a billion!
