R&D help needed

So I recently started training my first alt (a data-farming building scientist) and have some science questions. When I began looking into which R&D agents he would one day be using, I found that the eve-agents website shows three level 5 R&D agents (which I can't find in game). Is this outdated information? Also, with the recent changes to agent quality, what skills affect research points besides the actual skill being researched? Do Negotiation or system security (area) still affect research points? The agents website also lists datacores/day for each agent, which seems to be area (system security?) dependent. Are the numbers listed still accurate? And just so I'm clear, it is possible to earn research points in the same skill with different agents (for instance, use 4 mechanical engineering R&D agents if I really wanted to). Lastly, since the alt is lacking in non-science/building skills, can I have my main run missions for him to get his corp standings up? Is it as easy as the alt accepting a mission and the main doing the work? And if a mission requires a specific item to be retrieved, is the best solution to just contract it over to the alt to complete the mission?

Thanks for any help or advice.

I won't vouch for someone else's website. Negotiation does affect datacores per day. Connections does also, once you have run one of the daily missions to get positive personal standings with the agent.

Yes. Each agent is independant. You can have them all producing the same datacores if you want.

Is the alt on the same account as the main? If so, that makes it much more difficult. The easiest way is to have the alt fleeted with someone who can run the missions. That person presumably has the standings to get level 4 missions. Run the missions and share the rewards until the alt has personal standings with the chosen agent and can pull the level 4 agents himself. Then start pulling the missions with the alt and turn them in without sharing rewards to speed up corporate standings gains. If the fleeted mission runner cannot be your main, you may want to consider hiring someone to run the missions and bring up your standings.

Another way is to train your alt to fly an industrial and run courier missions. It does not take much time to get a bestower and Hull Upgrades 2 for expanded cargoholds and nannofibers. Each mission will give less standings gain, but you can run quite a few more missions with very little SP investment and not rely on anyone else. Especially if you can find a system with multiple courier mission agents for your chosen corp.

One piece of advice: storyline missions increase corp standing by a great deal, as much as 20% for one mission. Choose your mission running location to be close to a storyline agent for your chosen corporation so that you can get the correct storylines.

Thank you for the reply, very helpful. So does anyone know if level 5 R&D agents exist? Or is level 4 as high as they go?
