I just saw a post about this and I was wondering if I am able to get ahold of one of these boxed editions if the cerebral enhancement bonus will be worth it? I saw it will last until my character is 30 days old (with a 5 day grace period).

I don't know where that boxed edition is being sold. I just want to mention that Cerebral Accelerator is also being sold in game via contracts - current price is about 250 million ISK.

So if you have that much ISK you could buy it without needing that boxed edition - or if you do get the boxed edition you need to decide whether you want to use it by yourself or just sell for ISK.

ps. trial accounts can't use contracts so you would need to upgrade account before you can use them to buy/sell Cerebral Accelerator.

EDIT: ABOUT BONUS

Cerebral Accelerator gives 4.5 more skillpoints per minute, which means 226,800 more skillpoints during 35 days. That is about 4-5 days worth of skillpoints.

It also gives nice damage bonus (20% more damage, 20% better rate of fire) which helps a lot in the beginning when your skills are still low.

Only you can decide whether these bonuses are worth more than 250 million ISK.

I believe the cerebral implant offer expired in November 2011. So don't know if you still get the gift when you buy the boxed version. They will still show up in contract, keep in mind they only work if your account is less then 30 days old.
