Why do people capitalize EVE?

Because it's capitalized in the logo, and eve is a feminine wash.

EVE is actually an acronym. It stands for End Violent Encounters

Basically CCP has a dream of a universe where everyone in the universe gets together and puts an end to violence. Obviously it's still a work in progress...

Because the name is spelt with all capital letters. Whether it's an acronym or that's just how CCP rolls, it's all capitals. It is the same in RIFT. It's in all capitals but most idiots only type it with the first letter as a capital.

I like to do it like this: EvE then people assume its something "E" vs. something else "E"
