When looking at the name list of a Chatroom, it would show you wether or not a specific person was typing. Many caht systems already do that, and if you put it in EVE, it would not only reduce the number of chat-based inconveiniances, but it would also help a little in Fleet Ops. What do you people think?

This is my signature. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

I have to agree somewhat, it's very easy to be chatting to someone in corp chat and be talking over each other because you don't realise the other person is replying or not finished explaining something, etc. Sometimes you end up having to repeat things in chat because someone you're talking to has asked several other questions or statements while you were trying to type your response, not a good conversation flow really.

This is compounded by the chat text box losing focus with each session change, docking, jumping and so on which can become a bit of pain when taking part in a fast moving convo.

WoW holds your hand until end game, and gives you a cookie whether you win or lose. EVE not only takes your cookie, but laughs at you for bringing one in the first place...
