EVE New Citizens Q&A

Last question for now.

My in-game profile picture seems to be corrupted. If you look at the image to the left of this
post, there is a splotchy shadow on my character's forehead that wasn't there when I took
the initial profile picture.

That being the case, I was wondering if there was a way to take a new photo for my character
for use in-game, and on the forums. Is this possible?

Any time you want using the character recustomization

you can change hair, eyes, makeup, clothes, but you can't change the face or body structure.

When you're done you can take a new pic. Just expect it to take a few hours to update and a few days for the client to update.

This is because when you take a new pic the server renders it at maxed settings with an optimization or two the client might not have (which might explain any difference you might have even if you did yours at maxed settings). This is to ensure everyone has the highest quality pics and ppl with older comps don't get a worse looking pic just cause they can't render it.

The client delay is cause the image cache doesn't update very often.
