Personally, I doubt that CCP would use the number of forum likes a person has as a form of "weeding out" for possible CSM candidates.

As for the CSM, they are as much human as the CCP and are unlikely to push for likes to be used as such.

While the like system in its current incarnation is arguably flawed, everyone with a brain knows not to take it as meaningful data.

I think a much better proposal for the forums is doing something to combat all the plebs that feel the need to alt post where there is no good reason for 'space anonymity' other than facilitating bad posting.

Also, remove the ability for npc corps to give likes.

On the latter, easily circumvented and means squat. That's why the argument about posting on "mains" is so laughable. Htf would you know which one is my "main" anyway??

5 accounts = 15 chars. How the **** do I post on my main when *I* don't even know who that is? I've sold most of my "mains" - whoever they were.

In think I found your problem, OP.
It is because you tend to offend other players that you have far less likes than people that show respect and appreciation to their fellow posters like Lyris or Spank.
The CSM will NOT be determined via forum likes, this was stated quite clearly in the minutes.
So, you should just try for a limited amount of time to be nice to other people in here, and I am sure that your Likes count will also go up quickly.

Personally I would like if they stick with the Likes system, but no longer show the total amount of likes below your portrait- only the likes a specific post got should be visible in that post, because that is really the only relevant thing about the likes.

I'd like to apologize for the poor quality of the post above and sincerely hope you didn't waste your time reading it. Yes, I do feel bad about it.
